Will 5-star RB Derrick Henry pick Alabama, Tennessee or UGA next month?
The mega-prospect from Yulee, Fla., has moved up his announcement date, according to multiple media reports. After de-committing from UGA earlier this summer, Henry had said that he planned to make his new decision in December (he’s going to enroll early in college).
However, Henry has changed his mind and will announce sometime next month.
Henry lists Alabama as his leader, Tennessee as his second favorite, and UGA at No. 3, according to First Coast News.
What about UGA? Henry was committed to UGA for nearly a year before backing away from the decision earlier this summer. It was encouraging for UGA fans when Henry attended this year’s “Dawg Night” prospect camp. However, Henry said afterwards that Alabama was still his leader.
Which school will Henry pick? Which school needs him the most? And if Henry does not pick UGA, how will that affect the chances of the Bulldogs with other top running backs, such as Alvin Kamara? Please post below.
