Alvin Kamara: UGA makes top 10 for 4-star RB

UGA made the cut with one of the nation’s top college football prospects on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs made the top 10 list from RB Alvin Kamara of Norcross High School. If he wasn’t already, Kamara has rapidly become a top priority for UGA after 5-star RB Derrick Henry de-committed from the Bulldogs recently.
“I was shocked because [Henry has] been committed for so long,” Kamara told the AJC. “But I don’t blame him for it. In the end, you gotta make the right decision for you … not the coaches, not the fans, not anybody else but you.
“And I would say it helped UGA [with me]. No running back commits for 2013. That’s opportunity.”
Kamara’s other finalists are Alabama, Clemson, Oregon, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Florida, USC and Auburn.
“As far as visits go, I want to try and make it to each of the schools in my top 10 this summer,” Kamara said. “And my decision will come after I evaluate each option thoroughly. I just want to make sure I make the best choice for me.”

Let me make a point here. The Dawgs are a good team , not a great team but a good team. U gave up 155 points in your 4 losses and the other 10 games u basically shut them down. You did not beat a good team last year so how good is your defense really? Michigan State dropped 33 on your and the Big 10 is suppose to be an inferior conference. I’m just saying it is hard to judge how good u are since u have not beat a legitmate top 25 team in what 3 years?

Just out of curiosity… Do kids/families pay for these “unofficial visits” themselves? I don’t know this kid personally, so I don’t know his family’s financial situation, but visiting all 10 of these places over the course of the summer adds up! Oregon, OK State and USC aren’t exactly within driving distance. *scratching my head*

Four running backs of top shelf:
Derrick Green, Tyshon Dye, A Kamara, D Henry
Schools that should get at least one and all have strong ties to at least 3 of the 4 backs
Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee
I look for each school listed above to sign at least one of the running backs listed.
S Cal may get Kamare but would be very surprised if Dye would sign because he wants to make sure his brother gets a scholarship and not sure if S Cal would offer.
