Anfornee Stewart (DunwoodyFootball.com)
Anfornee Stewart said he’s leaning to Michigan State over Central Florida, and will visit both schools within the next two weeks.
The 6-foot-1, 193-pounder played quarterback at Duluth High School, but is being recruited as an “athlete” by colleges.
“Michigan State likes me at safety or cornerback,” Stewart told the AJC. “They’ve been keeping in touch with me a lot. They’re my leader. I like the atmosphere. I don’t know about that cold weather but I would eventually get used to it.”
Stewart said his recruiting trip is scheduled for Central Florida this weekend and then he’ll go to Michigan State.
He watched Michigan State defeat UGA in the Outback Bowl on TV. “It was awesome,” Stewart said. “I was pulling for Michigan State. It was crazy. I thought they were going to lose at first, but I guess it was meant for them to win. They played hard and never quit.”

I’m from the South, but went to Michigan State. You get used to the cold; it’s honestly not as bad as people down South think. I loved my time up in East Lansing so much I actually seriously considered staying up in Michigan after graduation, but decided to move closer to my family. Anyway, you’ll love it up there if you decide to become a Spartan, Anfornee. The atmosphere is awesome and the Spartan Fever is contagious. Hope to see you in Green next year.

The coincidence here is that both schools he’s considering have beaten UGA in back to back bowl games.

go to MSU! you can beat the crap out of people and get arrested, or be jailed for months and not miss a game. Dantonio has a great 8-strike policy.
