UGA 5-star RB Isaiah Crowell not on Twitter, shuts down Facebook account

Someone claiming to be Isaiah Crowell started a Twitter account on Tuesday, asking everyone and anyone for followers, engaging in conversation with other UGA football players, and making profanity-laced comments in the tweets.
The “real” Isaiah Crowell confirmed with the AJC on Tuesday that he has never been on Twitter and he shut down his Facebook account earlier today.
“No sir, I’ve never been on Twitter; I had a Facebook account but I erased it because it was creating so many problems” Crowell told the AJC. “It’s deleted.”
The coach of the 5-star tailback from Carver-Columbus High School was disappointed about the “fake” Twitter account in Crowell’s name. Crowell signed with Georgia over Alabama and Auburn last February.
“That’s crazy,” Dell McGee said. “I just read some of the comments on there and they are stupid. That’s not Isaiah and I hope you get the word out there that it’s not him.”

Flying Tigers, is that Auburn, Clemson or LSU? The last time I looked at Crowell’s recruiting page on scout he had offers to both those schools. Interesting isn’t it. I bet if he would have signed there you wouldn’t be saying anything would you?

I doubt it, but young kids are willing to put stuff out THERE to be popular.
I call it the PARIS HILTON Syndrome. To be Popular and Famous for nothing of value. I am not a UGA fan but I do like to hear about good thing Tech players are doing. I love that Sean Bedford is playing American Football in Spain. I like to hear about his travels and room mates for Denmark and Germany. If Kids put things of value on the Twitter and FB, then none of this would be an issue.
All you need to know is Bret Farve is a Multi-Millionaire and he sent pics of lil Bret. See even adults use Media in stupid ways.

Smart move. Nothing good is going to come from a Facebook account or a twitter account. Nothing. I’m sure there are many kids out there that will pay a price for the things they put up there when they try to make it in the professional workforce.

King and Ealey were big fish in A/AA ponds in high school. No wonder they ain’t done squat in the almighty SEC. It was men vs. boys and their heads got bigger than their talents.

Beast, i could be dead wrong but King is doing a lot of good things now. It is his senior year and he is behaving. He IS capable. My predictions only add up to averaging 175 yards per game. somebody is going to get the yards. I don’t see Crowell or Thomas. I think Ealey is leaving so that leaves King and Malcome and my pick is King.
Not confident enough to wager but I do feel pretty good about it.

I believe HS players should lose a star for every year over 18 they are when they graduate.

Ealey had 800 yards in 2010 on a sorry team that was always throwing. He only played 12 of the 13 games. If he is gone, someone else gets those yards.

If UGA has a 1,00 rusher it will be Crowell. I have never seen anything that leads me to believe that either King or Ealey will reach that milestone. Obviously, I could be wrong. Both have been somewhat injury and suspension prone. I tend to belive it will be more balanced between the 3. Bobo loves to pull the “hot hand” out and replace him with a substitute. LOL!

I agree with DawginLex that Ealey will transfer. King has to prove he can make it to the Fall semester. I can’t see Richt and Bobo playing 3 RBs against Boise St. other than a cameo by Malcome.
