DB Domonique Noble completes Tech’s recruiting class — for now

Georgia Tech has now inked all of the commitments it had coming into national signing day. Now we get to sit back and see if the Yellow Jackets have any surprises to offer.

Domonique Noble, a 6-2, 187-pound defensive back from Mount Ulla, N.C., is the last signee to be reported. The three-star prospect, who chose the Yellow Jackets over North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame and Virginia, among others, is also an exceptional student. He said the main reason he chose Tech was for its engineering programs.

The Yellow Jackets have room to sign at least two more players but won’t necessarily do so.

A pretty impressive class, the prize is Lee the QB we desperately needed to return to the ACCCG

Sleeper is:
Tyler Marcordes 6′6″ 231 lbs, what film of him play, runs like crazy man on the film, runs over people, would almost like to see him get a shot at QB but coaches know best.

Who cares

Watch film on Marcordes then Ray Drew, keep in mind they are about same size, Drew is good I’ll give him that, but to say he’s that much better then Marcordes is open for debate.

This class will be better than Georgia’s recruiting class in 3 years. UGA went after athletes that have peaked already and if you look at the years past, CMR and these underachievers, or early peakers have miserably failed. It looks as if Tech may have the last laugh when all is said and done. Tech has put together a very good class and I would take a class of 3 and 4 star athletes over the shoe shinning highly glorified, five star players.

You guys recorded Bryan Chamberlain twice on committment list (#17 and #19). Does that mean Tech has three scholoarships to give rather than two?

MRBIGUNS – Agree, look at Tech’s OL recuits:

Errin Joe – 6′4″ 305
Trey Braun – 6′ 5″ 299
Bryan Chamberlain – 6′ 4″ 280
Shaq Mason – 6′2″ 305

Reminds me when Tech got commit from 2 star Phillip Wheeler. You could just tell he could play football yet 2 stars, give me a break. He ended up being the best player on the field when UGA played Tech.

How can anyone say PJ has ruined tech football when he has to redshirt everyone so they dont fail out of freshman classes. Last years recruiting class plus the few of these guys who will be able to handle tech (Nick Menocal being one) will make for a great defense. My biggest concern is we didn not get a decent center with Bedford gone. That’s one of the more important positions on offense running the option.

How bout them Bees !!!

Bob you are either a UGA fan, or you’re an idiot! I suspect both.

On the surface a very disappointing class. Perhaps they will fit Johnson’s system better than they look on paper; if not it we will have more seasons like this last one.

Leghumpers still nervously awaiting the dawg staff to coach down their outstanding recruits. Too bad, men. Be sure and get an education while you are at Athens as you will certainly need it.

We still need to open up the passing.PJ appears to be a good coach and a good adjustment maker during the game, however defenses are getting faster and are starting to shut down the run with no pass threat.PJ appears to have a stubborn streak concerning shot gun and allowing a committed student athlete to look around. It is a double standard if he lets a commit from another school visit Tech, and we are not making a good impression on potential recruits.
Non athletes can be accepted to Tech and still look at other schools, why not athletes?
