Georgia-bound quarterback Christian LeMay will be interviewed live on ESPNU tonight on SportsCenterU between 7 and 8 p.m.

LeMay announced on April 30 at his father’s church in Pineville, N.C., that he intends to enroll at UGA after graduating next fall.  Craig Haubert, an ESPN recruiting analyst, served as master of ceremonies for that event.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound athlete is considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation. He is ranked No. 1 at the position by The Sporting News and No. 2 by Scout.com. He chose Georgia over Clemson, Texas A&M, Auburn and Notre Dame.

LeMay has been staying busy since that announcement. Most recently he won MVP honors at a Nike camp in Blacksburg, Va.

LeMay earned North Carolina player of the year honors last season after leading Butler High School to a 15-0 record and the 4A state championship. He completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 3,296 yards, 44 touchdowns and two interceptions last season.

LeMay will be an early enrollee at Georgia.

Unless he decides another school is the “leader” before then. He’s playing this for everything he can get out of it.

If LeMay completed 68.5% of his passes why isn’t UGA offering any of his receivers a scholarship? To have that high of a completion percentage LeMay got help from someone.

Tim , get off the blog. You’re just another negative idiot. Go talk your negativity to someone who cares. UGA wil be a power again. CMR got a big dose of reality last year. Things will change for the better this year. Hopefully BoBo pulls his head out of his rear end and becomes a college OC instead of a peewee league OC.

As a life long DOG fan I am delighted to have Christian LeMay a part of BULLDOG NATION !!! There is a brand new culture and attitude in Athens, Georgia. Coach Mark Richt is without question the brightest head coach in the country ! All he needed was his very own “Erk Russell” and that is coach Todd Grantham………..Championships are won with defense ! Agressive defense creates chemistry, chemistry usually bleeds over to the offense, then you recruit a guy like Christian LeMay and the dominos begin to fall, and they will fall !……….and there you go, off to the races. college football runs in cycles, and the BULLDOGS cycle has come full circle. LeMay will be great competition for Aaron Murray………So we are back to the David Green, DJ Shockly era, this time we walk away with a National Championship to show for it…………GATA…….SIC’ ‘EM WOOOF……….WOOOF……….WOOOF………..WOOOF !!!!!!

Midland Dog, Charone Peake, from Dorman HS in Spartanburg, is being actively recruited by Lemay for UGA. Mark Bradley or another AJC writer, in a blog response last week, named a couple of other OL and/or WRs Lemay is already talking to.

Goal #1 each season is to win the SEC East. With Tebow finally gone from UF, hopefully, they will see a decline in win percentage, similar to what happened to UGA after Herschel left. Still a very good team, but without the extra weapon, which makes them beatable.

Couple that with the expected improvements at UGA, both at QB and on the D, and hopefully we’ll be in contention for the SEC East. After that, the Dogs somewhat control their own destiny.

HardTruthSoldier,
“…know that Bulldawg nation will love you….”

Just like we loved Joe Cox?

Be that as it may, welcome to UGA, Christian! Here’s hoping you have a great career…and that you apply yourself in the classroom. There’s few places to get a better education and few college towns that can top Athens.

Roll tard; we just don’t have a hand full of players here in Georgia to pick from. We have hundreds, and can’t keep them all. Maybe if you played ball in bama like we do in Georgia, you would have that many leave the state. It’s Mothers day, make her proud, and don’t be a dummy all your life! Go Dawgs!

Hey BDAWG…..you sorry losers will grab at any straw to pump up the expectations you have about the middle of the pack, average puppies…you are never going to beat UF on a consistent basis because UF will always get better players than you..so STFU bdawg and get ready for another 7 and 5 season with a return trip ti Shreveport….losers!

yeah c’mone , nice comeback lol. Auburn, Bama, UT, and USC(east) HAVE to recruit in Georgia well. If they don’t they can’t field a competitive team. That makes being the University OF Georgia a nice advantage. People think we are a has-been team. That’s fine, let em.

Just kills me that uga fans have such an ego to call themselves “bulldog nation.” Try and win a few more games, go to a respectable bowl, and THEN maybe you can be “bulldog village.” We’ll work on the “nation” part if you ever win your divison.
