Keith Helms: "I am sure I will vilified by the anti Americans...". Are you saying that I'm anti American if I am not a rascist like you? You are sad.

Folks, if you haven't read The Blind Side, you should. It is a great read and makes a good point that there are a lot of very talented kids out there being recruited by D-1 teams with horrible backgrounds. Are some of them worth taking a risk on turning a life around and helping a program? Absolutely.

Before it is pointed out by some smug little brat...I wanna say that yes, I do notice all the UGA sidewalk fan's and Techies and Gator's posing as UGA fans that seem to have the same issues with reading comprehension.

Out of all the Tech fans posting on here, so far I have only noticed about 3 or 4 of you are actually capable of realizing that B.J. Butler is the UGA commit and was suspended for "disciplinary reasons", not drugs.

Will Bostic is the one is trouble with drugs and he IS NOT a UGA commit. I don't even think he will play D-1 college ball.

Got it, Techies? I thought you guys were supposed to be the smart ones? Must not value basic reading comprehension at NATS, huh?

if anyone watched the grayson-newnam game, alex ogletree is really goint to be a good one. ga ought to consider giving scholarship to his brother too. he might not be a 5 star, but he plays hungry, something the ga squad looks to be short on.

Folks:
Satement: Richt's ties to FCA and his relationships with former players (FSU) and having family in Metro Altlanta made for a relatively easy early commitment for UGA...kids, are just that.

Question: whats the percentage of you who post these ignorant comments about kids, while hiding behind screen names, have ever even been offered a D-1 scholarship, let alone having played college ball? I have always said that I would never succumb to such silliness, but when you speak ill of my nephew...and he wonders why I am still disappointed in his decision to play before the likes of you. Please know this, he does not have a record, he is not a disciplinary problem in the classroom, and he is still a member of both, OHS' fb team and the projected 2010 class for UGA and he will graduate from HS and college! No response or reply needed... Happy Thanksgiving.

DaddyDawg: Good catch. Little sleepy slip-up by me. Guess since it's Tech-Georgia week I must've had Riccardo Ingram's name in my brain. I've fixed it. Thanks.

All of you people are crazy. That's what is wrong with the whole world today. Everyone wants to critize someone when they are not perfect. None of us are perfect. There are of lot of people that made mistakes and turned out fine in life. All of you all need to get a life and face reality. As for the Dawgs they will be fine with some coaching issues resolved. We are not far off just need some quality coaches on defense and offense. If CMR don't see that this happens then we need to look elsewhere. Don't be so ill towards fellow americans we all are human.

Chip:

There is no Ricardo Ingram on Ga.'s roster. There is a DT by the name of Ricardo Crawford, but it is expected that he will graduate after this year (his 4th in the program), rather than continue playing as a 5th year senior who redshirted. Brandon Wood is currently a DE who would have to move back to DT (a position he has played briefly in previous years) to play there next year. Derrick Lott and Gwame Geathers are true freshmen who are redshirting this year. Tyson will have 2 years of playing experience at DT under his belt next year, although his playing time has been limited by playing behind seniors such at Jeff Owens, Geno Atkins and Kade Weston. That leaves Abry Jones, who has played sparingly as a true freshman behind the senior DTs and Tyson.

In light of the dearth of returning experience at DT and the youth involved, I would not say that Ga. is reloading....... Ga. must find an effective rotation of DTs, which will have to include either redshirt or true freshmen next year....... not a recipe for success for perhaps the most physicall demanding position in the SEC.

Cotter: Georgia hopes to reload at DT. It will return DeAngelo Tyson, Ricardo Crawford, Brandon Wood, Abry Jones and Derrick Lott. The Bulldogs also have commitments from six defensive linemen for 2010. Five are listed as DEs but several could play inside or outside. They still hope to get Stephenson's Mike Thornton and/or Warner Robins' Jeff Whitaker.

Sounds like these guys are UGA material. All they need is a driving without a lisence charge. Then they could start freshman year.

What will UGA do next year on the Defensive Tackle position? They are losing all their upperclass. teams will run on them big time next year. 3 in a row is a lock especially with a fresh qb.
