Actually Ramblinwreck if you check the stats, Scott Hopson was the 5th best player coming out of the country two years ago. Also, J.P. Prince was a Mcdonald’s All-America. Granted, it started with Arizona and transferred to TN.

I’m certaintly not putting TN basketball in the same category as the UNC’s, Kansas, Duke’s, UCLA’s, but if you look at what Pearl has down the last few years, TN has a pretty freakin good run going. The last two years, TN has played the toughest non-conference schedule in the country. It is not quite as tough as last year, but we still have Kansas, Memphis, Purdue, and at Southern Cal.

We also signed two of the top players in Georgia this year…Jordan Mcrae and Trae Golden,,,both four star players and we have a 2011, 5 star commit from Georiga as well

Coach Hewitt is stoll living off going to the national title game years ago. His system is flawed, he jas terrible guards, un heard of assistant coaches and he should have been fired 2 years ago.

Hey yall sorry I passed on Tech but I wanted to show off my skills against the weak SEC rather than get big national exposure, but have tougher match-ups, in the bigger markets in the ACC and Big East. I’ll take 2 tough games against Kentucky over playing against UNC, Duke, Louisville, UConn, Pitt, and G’Town. SU has a great class already and I don’t want Dion Waiters stealing my shots. At UT, I can have padded stats that further enhance my 2011 NBA Draft status. Yall know I’m 1 and done.

Taco, Tech didn’t lose to Dayton, they lost to Dayton’s BENCH! Their two top scorers scored 0 and 7 points, respectively. UD is ranked for a reason – - they are a very, very solid team from top to bottom and know how to win the tough games, and aren’t intimidated by “BCS” teams (they are 7 -2 in their last 9 meetings against “BCS” schools, including Louisville, Pitt and WVa). Tech will do OK this season – maybe 18 – 10, but their team is just too young to gut it out down the stretch in the ACC. Hewett’s job is definitely on the line if he misses the Big Dance.

Flo-ri-duh There is a very good reason you can’t stand Pearl the magnificent. He just beats Billy’s butt like a jungle drum. Why are you jealous? Billy can recruit but when he goes up against Pearl he stands on the sideline with no idea what to do. It is a comical sight. So far he has beaten him with talent that Billy wouldn’t have recruited. Watch what he does with all of the guys he’s taking away from the state of Georgia plus the # 5 player in America. You Tech fans should just relax and be happy that you have a great football team. Basketball will have to wait a few years.
