WTH: Hey, I just ask them what they're going to do and write what they say. I can't do anything about it if they're lying. For the record, I don't think Stripling's lying. There are others way to handle a change of mind.

Congrats to Jershon Cobb on getting the scholly and choosing Northwestern. FWIW, Evanston is literally adjacent to the city limits of Chicago. (One side of Howard St is Evanston and the other side is Chicago). So it's not like it was some big error. It used to take me 20 minutes to drive from the campus to Rush Street (unless it was Rush hour, no pun intended).

Jershon, if you're reading this please be prepared for two things that will be hard to adjust to quickly, but you will have to. First, it will get cold in a HURRY and will stay cold for quite some time. And second, no matter what classes you're taking now, you will be challenged in the classroom the minute you show up.

Be ready for those two things and you will do fine and you'll be happy you made the decision.

Doesn't look like Mark Fox has been able to penetrate the AAU Coaching Mafia in Georgia. He is sure going to need some help to recruit in-State. The absolute hatred of UGA by all these basketball coaches is going to be a surprise to him. Nothing changes...he will have to find success by recruiting out-of-State players. AMAZING that Damon Evans hasn't figured this out, but my guess is he was tuned down by every African-American candidate he contacted. they know the truth...UGA is a basketball graveyard in these coaches opinion. What a shame.

ADVANCED HOME SECURITY

Here’s something the recruits should think about. I was watching the Tennessee game on TV. Tennesse had a player that was seriously hurt and was down for sometime. I never saw Lane Kiffin come out to the field to check on or support his injured player. When I was watching the Georgia game, I saw a Georgia player go down hurt. (Just like the Tennessee injury.) I saw Mark Richt right there with him. I know which coach I would rather play for!

First of all, I don't believe you. But why would anyone switch from GaTech to UGA? I'm an UGA alumni and UGA is now the 2nd best football in the state by Ga. Tech.

Chip,

You should be concerned, these people on here know more about where these recruits are going than you do. Maybe you should get there contact info so you can stay on top of things better.

I go to school at South Paulding high school and am good friends with Ryan Ayers. Ryan is having second thoughts on the commitment he made to Tech earlier this year. He has become good friends with Mike Bobo and Rodney Gardner at Georgia who have done a great job of keeping in touch with Ryan and his family. Ryan will soon decommitt from Tech and sign with Georgia on signing day. He has made his intentions known to his family and close friends. Sorry Tech fans Ryan wants to play at the next level after college and going to Georgia will assure him of playing aganist the best competition possible each week making his chances of getting drafted high better than if he went to Tech. Get ready for the switch its coming...sorry Tech fans.

Stripling is not stupid...he will sign with the Dawgs. Ga Tech currently is having success but they will not tbe able to sustain it long term. I'll bet the house that Stripling signs with the Dawgs....The post above by his so called class mate is just an example of how low Tech fans will stoop. They have and always will have an incredible inferiority complex when it comes to Georgia...they just can't help it. In the state of Georgia regardless of the records of both teams Tech will always be looked upon as a second class school.

The joke is on the dogs. I go to school with him and I am close friends with him and his parents.

He attended the gt virginia tech game as did his parents and that pretty much pushed them to gt. He has been a life long fan of gt and a career ending injury to a gt player opened up a spot for him in gt's recruiting class.

The only thing that could possibly keep him from switching to gt would be for uga to win out. the win over gt would have to be over whelming for him to change his mind.

Even with that being said his parents are smart and value an education over a fb career.
so dogs fans be prepared for a kick in the another ass kicking on the field and with this recruit.

He is waiting on the hill to review his grades and his sat scores before the offer is 'official'. That should be no problem for this smart young man.

For you disbelieving dog fans... he may not announce right away because he wants to keep the harrassment from dog nation to a minimum.... but announce for gt he will.

BANK ON IT!

UGA football- top ten 6 of last 8 years. You can probably count on one hand the number of schools that can match that, so yes recruiting does count.

Only two comments on a UGA recruiting article ?? Has the Earth stopped
rotating around the sun ? This is unbelievable.
UGA fans ALWAYS believe that recruiting solves ALL PROBLEMS. Over the coming weeks we will start the grind on how great the new UGA football class is and how many 5 stars there are and the number of 4 and 5 stars who will go to UGA to , as usual, sit on the bench. Top 10 for the umpteenth year in a row. We all know the drill.
But we also know it dosen't mean anything because another 3 loss minimum season is coming.
