There is alot of Georgia boys on her who know nothing about football on the plains and you dog fans should worry about your problems up in Athens.and who is this gamecock nutjob who said OUR boy is a lock at SC? He and Michael are GOOD freinds and Michael is pressuring him to tag team in the backfeild on the plains with him.Tennnesee and Florida will be at the top of the SEC East for a while so bye bye dogs and the cocks will never be anymore than average.and YES! Michael Dyer is 5-8 and he will run over Georgia sooner than you would probably like.Sorry? dont look now but Auburn is headed back to there former dominance with that "why the hell did they hire him" coach who just happened to turn a 5-7 team into a 9 or 10 win team in "1" year and also recruited the VERY best back in the nation who is also a great kid.just remember his name, you will be hearing alot."MICHAEL DYER"-War Eagle Baby!

I thought Southern Cal was Tailback U...

Herschel and Bo both won Heismans and Garrison was 3rd.

I think USC has a stronger pedigree at runnign back than UGA and AU.

GO DAWGS! Beat Auburn!

Not sure this will allow me to post a link, but this article compares what the writer considers the top three RB schools of the modern era, Auburn, USC and Miami, using lots of stats and math. Doesn't even mention UGA as a contender. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/219438-the-search-for-running-back-u-part-1-the-big-3auburn-miami-usc/page12

Auburn has produced more impact NFL running backs than UGA. There really isn't any comparison. Only a UGA homer would disagree. Auburn will show a couple of them off this weekend in Athens (our home away from home), you should come by and check it out. WDE

Wow. This is entertaining. If you read all these posts, you'd think Auburn and Georgia had two of the greatest football programs in the history of mankind. Truth is, until I saw the announcement of this weekend's upcoming game, I'd forgotten that Auburn still played football. What d'ya know? Should be interesting. If you enjoyed the USFL. Personally, I prefer watching SEC football, which neither of these teams is currently playing.

5'8" 200 pounds? What a lard-butt. He will never see the field as a starter at Auburn. He may never see his cleats at Auburn if he's as fat as he sounds. Maybe he can tote the gravy bowl for their fat linemen. Hopefully he is not allowed into Dreamland when the Kitty Buzzards come over to Tuscaloosa for their semi annual whippin. Go Saban, Roll Tide!

Not sure Auburn should claim Brooks. I seem to recall him telling an Ohio judge he couldn't get a job because he doesn't know how to read? This after spending 4 years on the plains. Did he go to jail for failure to pay his child support. Sad thing is he attended Warner Robins High in Georgia too so both states share blame.

Being the top rusher in Ark does mean something- for those who don't have Alzheimer's remember a guy named Darren McFadden, or current running backs michael smith and Broderick Green (both doing well for petrino this year),

To Larry and your comparison of AU vs. UGA backs,

You seem to have a selective Memory,

Starting Backwards with Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown,

Don't forget about Hmmmm, Stephen Davis, or how about Hmmmm Rudi Johnson, and Hmmmm Brandon Jacobs. I think those guys are quit respected in the NFL. Hey, there is also a fullback named Heath Evans that has more Super Bowl Rings than 90% of the guys in the NFL. Tony Richardson has had one of the longest careers in the NFL and has a couple of Rings.

I'm just getting started. All of the guys I just named have ACTUALLY PRODUCED in the NFL.

Hey, now I can add names like Bo Jackson, Joe Cribbs, and even Lionel James who produced quit well in his niche with San Dieago.

Only 2, and possibly a 3rd in the near future, have even produced in the NFL.

I haven't even thrown in the stable of backs Auburn has produced that equal your top list, like Bostic, Irons, Joseph, Beasley, etc.

Man, don't forget Andrews, Brooks and Cribbs.

Also don't forget Brent Fullwood who had more yards per carry than Bo Jackson and also had a Stephen Davis type career in the NFL in his day.

Don't talk about what you do not know about. Your lack of judgement of talent is typical of UGA and how you guys wonder why things slide when they do or when your team doesn't reach its expectations.

You know there's a saying, don't ask a question unless you know the answer. This is kind of like that. Davis-South Carolina, Cadillac- Alabama, Fulllwood-Florida, and two you will get to know next week, Tate-Maryland and McCaleb-Florida. I think the pattern is clear. Kids in other states know the real Running Back U. Oh by the way we even steal your guys, like Ronnie Brown. Why do you think that is Bank?

Frank ... same echo crap we keep hearing from you guys. Try something fresh and up to date. UGA is losing games and losing recuits. Anybody that can forecast ... just like banking people that can't afford standard of living ... this adds up to foreclosure. UGA is overrated, has fans that expect too much and your stadium is about to fall. Other SEC schools and GT is kicking your a$$, just accept it.

lose to Ala 1 time in 7 yrs and you would have thought they beat us 20 straight. Series will get very interested with AU's energetic and focused staff against Saban's staff. Looking for many battles to come

Great for Auburn, but check their History, they've had as many as three pro backs on the team at one time and couldn't win anything. They have always, and will always be in the shadow of U of A. There are a lot of top 20 teams around Auburn, so let's hope there was no hanky panky involved in getting him to come there.
