So ARt,

CPJ cannot recruit and therefore will not win after Gailey's recruits are gone. Then when he is not winning he will be hired by another school and leave GT. Do I understand what you are saying correctly?

Translation, the puppets pretending to be objective staff writers at Scout.com got their marching orders from Richt and the Georgia staff after the debacle in Jacksonville. Go out and produce articles on any players they may have had their eyes open to the fiasco that is currently Georgia football. No worries Chad Simmons, Georgia will continue to have a top 5 recruiting class, you guys will see to it, and the Georgia program will continue to waller in mediocrity. Just one question, what happens now that the Vols have passed you as the #2 team in the SEC East?

Christian Green,

Son if you want to develop as a player and have a shot at winning a national title and getting to the next level, I warn you and your parents, DON'T COME TO UGA. After they run you on your first bubble screen and you lose 5 yards because the cornerback saw it coming a mile away, their going to say your not as good as they thought because you didn't run over 5 guys or jump over another like Hershel and Knowshon. UGA needs superman to win big ballgames, they are not equipped at coaching kids up. Don't say you weren't warned!!!

Warning Mr. Rogers - You will never play in the Georgia Dome during your time at Georgia, better think twice and go somewhere else sir. A note on Christian Green, look for him to go to Florida as they are at the top-top of his list.

I've been out here watching the Yellow Jackets practice the last couple of hours. Calhoun Jackets, that is. Da'Rick looks good in practice. Clearly a different level of athlete. . . . There are some other good ones here: J.T. Palmer, a junior who plays the wideout opposite Da'Rick, is a good player that is getting some looks. Their running back, Dustin Christian, is smallish, but looks quick and steady. Of course, quarterback Nash Nance has already committed to Vandy. A lot of solid looking linemen. There's a reason they're ranked No. 1 in Class AA I guess. . . .

I'm impressed with coach Hal Lamb's practice routine. Very tightly run and little wasted time. . . . Like I said, more coming tomorrow.

Chad Simmons ask DaRick is Calhoun going to finish the job this year. While you are there check out the new field at Phil Reeve, it is nice. To all the leg humpers, I do hope you guys keep thinking that CPJ can't recurit because it is going to be sweet watching him run CMR out of town and his sucessor out of town to. You guys are looooooosers with no class. THWG "Ain't Life Grand" wsp

I have a question. Does the way that the dogs have been losing of late and the swirl of questions now surrounding the program effect his confidence in his commitment? I am sure a lot of people would like to know what goes through these players minds when they witness this and then other programs that are running on a CONSISTANT high like Floriduh come calling. The announcers made it a point to bring up AJ Bryant and Urban visiting him last minute to try to get him to change his mind. They held off from saying "I wonder if he regrets it now".

Thanks for the infor duber1958. I kknow lots of runningbacks want to be the "feature" back in an offense, but Dwyer, Anthony Allen, and Roddy Jones all get their touches and have healthy yards per gain averages. More importantly, it is hard to key on anyone back in the triple option, and that gives everyone a unique opportunity to shine at any time during a game. I've heard lots of discussion about Lattimore and the Seastrunk kid. Both have very impressive games and I hope they both go to a program that will help further their careers and educations.

Cuttysark

I do not know about the rest of the 5 star recruits but Lattimore is the real deal. I have watched him for the last 3 years at Byrnes HS and he would fit in as a great replacement for Dwyer. Unfortunately, he wants to go to a school where he will be the featured running back and get 20 touches or so per game, which we know he will not do at GT. He runs tough, can run inside and break tackles and also has the breakaway speed to take any carry for a TD.

Well as usual everyone is just head over heels in love with all of the "5" stars kids according to the "experts" at the rating services. Time will tell how they will pan out. I trust a Coach like Paul Johnson to go out and find "players" regardless of the # of stars.

Go to http://isportsweb.com for more Georgia Tech Football articles. Also go check the archives for a prior article on "5" star recruiting titled; "How Could This Have Happened?"
