I've read most of the hate comments since July on Storm; Read about bad charter,
about his Dad, about afraid to run and get hit. I read all the comments from the LSU
Fans, GA., Tech fans ... comment after comment putting this young man down.

My question is; If you dislike this young man so much ... why you all make comments
about him? Why do you all make negative comments at that???

Tech fans: We got nothing to worry about him if he goes to Miami? Well hell, our best back
was redshirted this year because of two other starts ahead of him, and it appears D. Berry
who came on strong (moved from Safety to RB) was a great surprise and may be the starter
along with Lamar Miller who gained over 2,000 yards in HS, beating all of Frank Gores records.

If you all think Daddy is going to run the show while he's at Miami ... you better talk to Robert
Marv’s Dad (who play LB for Buffalo) ... he and his son were given their walking papers.

For the ones who say he's got grade issues.. Miami (A private college with a student body of approx 13,000) standards are one of the hardest in the country along with ND to get into.

Coach Shannon and the U was just awarded an academics award along with ND, graduating 100% of Miami's athletic students ... so either he hits the books early or he won't even be able to go to any way games or dress out.

Let's let the young man be all he can be no matter where he goes. Let the Miami coaches put him in the Pro's if he works hard at it.

So, did you watch the playoffs and championship games. The great white hope. Jessel Curry, did what Buford wnated him to do. Shine! And you all kept saying Storm was going to be the man. His parents were to smart to believe that lie. Buford poison also had teams back off from Storm with scholarships, that's OK too. Buford will get boils, and pestulence for their treachery and bigotness.

You all need to stop and wish this young man well. Buford will get whatever, Coach Simpson won't be long. All the other parents will see that Jessel Curry will be pumped to be the man for the remaining playoffs, he's the right color and his parents have put up enough $$$$$ and Chad Simmons will make him to be the greatest player ever.

Buford is still racist, he didn't play because they wanted all the white boys to shine. Watch the show, He is League bound. He is the best back Buford ever had, freaking jerks.

Up the Middle, Cmon boy. Up the midddle! You can do it. Try a little harder. Oh well.

Maybe Miami can get you to do it cuz Buford and Loganville can't seem to figure it out.

To bad they chose to send you up the middle as a last play against Apalachee. Send the ball up the middle in O.T. with a player who still can't figure out what a guard or tackle is and can only run when given 15 yeards to build speed to the outside and then pose like Jesus himself. Stay on the kick return where it's open. Godfrey's head straight up Storm backside. Maybe Loganville could call a time out or two (in a row), so they can figure out the next play. What? Other players? When did that happen? Quick, call a time out!! There's no Teaming in Stormball !!

What have the rest of the actual Loganville boys done with Storm around. Nothing. They suck compared to last year, no heart. No D at all. Wonder why? None needed. All the attention was on Storm and if he would score enough to out do everybody. 26 carries and 106 yards? Ooohhhh! All tingly and warm.

Buford called him a cancer on the team. Wow, right on the money. He should have helped lift the team and not break it down to narrow the spotlight. Actually saw him put his hand up in Godfrey's face after Storm dropped the ball (again) so he would not have to hear it. Did not want to hear it from his own coach on a dropped ball. Cancer Rules!!!

Lets pray for the cure. One way ticket to Miami. Thank God his parents only rented here for one season. Storm said he went to Loganville to get THEM to the Dome. About as much team playing as a fragging sniper. Saturday, Loganville can start focusing on being a team again. A team for ALL the boys who are actually FROM LOGANVILLE and not transfer queens!!!

Loganville's Morgan Bailey is D-1 to GT and has NONE of these issues or comments. Only good comments. Why are all the negative issues only around Storm? It is what it is.

Oh one more thing for Storm and his father to see when he comes down to Miami.
-----------------------------------------------------
For the 113th consecutive week, a former Miami Hurricane has scored a TD in the NFL.
No other college team is responsible for more touchdowns in the NFL in that span then former Miami Hurricane players!
No one is even close!

Read the USA today report which is title:
"Hurricanes take NFL end zones by storm"

A list of NFL players from the U impressive to say the least.

Don't know why some of the people on here are talking smack about the U.
First welcome to Miami Mr.Storm and I am glad you will be the first named storm of the 2010 hurricane season..
The Canes have the most active players in the NFL right now at 53 and they have the record for the most #1 draft picks in a single draft.
Since 1999, the Hurricanes have produced 27 first-round selections, which is more No. 1s than most Division I-A schools have generated in their history.
..enough about the U !

To all you Georgia locals don't despair if you lose one of your talented players, down in Miami we are used to this as it happens every year..
For example right now look at the rosters of GT,G, and Bama..
GT = 15% are from Florida
Georgia = 13% are from Florida
Bama = 12% are from Florida

You also have to remember we have the best high school football programs in the country, last year it was Northwestern (Jacory Harris school) that was #1 in the country and this year it is St.Thomas that is #1 in the country.
One of my favorite players Lamarcus Joyner is leaving our local school to play outside of South Florida.
LJ is the #1 CB in the country according the new ESPNU standings..
Believe me you will hear his name alot because he is a beast..
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/tracker/prospects?&state=null&status=null&toggle=null&season=2010&pos=CB
The Canes have made him many offers, but he wants a change in scenery so you see this is something we are used to every year..

All I can say is thanks for hopefully producing a nice player for us..
I would also like to add that the ACC and SEC are the toughest football divisions in college and the other cream puff divisions benefit from losses..

Man, you GT fans have some issues. In case you forgot Miami handed your fanny to you this year, so I'm not sure what all the chest thumping is about. I will never understand how people can get so caught up about where a 17/18 year old kid chooses to go to college.

yes gerald storm would be starting behind cody getz this year wouldn't he? O never mind cody getz is at air force leaving storm to receive most of the carries. Yes gerald his father is so smart to take that distinct academic advantage over buford. not that buford is known academically but come on now, loganville? And an honor student too?? Now that one was an early April fool's thanks for the laugh

Simply, do you have any idea about what you're talking about? The last time we lost a game we lost by a touchdown in the last few seconds of the game. Please get your facts straight before you try to act smart.

And Red Devil, what writer for Scout trashes Storm? I doubt anybody working for that company would have anything bad to say about him.

Gerald, you obviously has knowledge of the Johnson family as I do. You speak the truth. Good for you for supporting them. Storm's parents are good people and Storm is a good kid. Buford Haters just won't let it go. They are always around to spread their evil words. Miami picked up a great player. You are right about Tech and GA, forgot to include a certain writer for Scout who suppports Buford and down grades Storm every chance he gets, but no matter. We will all face our evil doings one day. I wish Storm much success. He works hard. He plays hard. He's earned it. Loganville has enjoyed Storm. We're sorry he didn't come sooner. But, now his successes belong to us, not Buford.

Gerald, Storm would have been getting 20 carries a game this year at Buford. He would not have been behind anyone this year. You keep stating that he would not have gotten these offers as a backup to Getz. However, he got many of these offers last year when he was the second RB. The kid is a heck of a talent. Good luck to him.

STA, how many times have you guys beaten Lakeland in the past few years? Where were you when Lakeland won all those National Championships? That's what I thought.

And to all the people that say we're all "bitter", Many Buford fans aren't bitter towards Storm in any way. If anyone is bitter towards anyone, Storm's family is bitter towards Buford because he didn't start. That's been said many times by many different people outside of Buford, and facts are facts. I've got nothing against Storm, I only wish the best of luck to him, but the people on here need to leave Buford and things they know nothing about out of this.

Gerald. The one mistake you make in your comparisons is that you are comparing Storm to others that actually have the talent to back up the attitude. Nice try.

Not Disappointed:

No reason to be disappointed. Georgia Tech never offered Storm Johnson. Why? Who knows. But they got the guy they wanted in Charles Perkins, and he's a good one. He is probably a better fit for the "A-back" role than Johnson anyway, and Johnson doesn't fit the "B-back" role. They got a couple of other guys from Loganville instead that will help them on both lines. So Tech should be happy, Miami should be happy, and Johnson should be happy. That leaves the bitter Buford people I guess.

Ali Allah Ackbar, As a former player of GT, I have to say that Miami kicked out teeth in this year. I love my school, however, when we can put NC's in our trophy case and get players selected in the first round of the NFL draft, I'll join you in trash talk. But for now please....We've done nada...you give me a headache.

GT fans trashing Miami ...who'd thunk it ? If you think the defense was good this year vs the single-wing crap...just wait. By the way...please hold off the "thug-U" crap. If by some chance Miami rolls out a FEDERALLY INDICTED DRUG-DEALER to try to win a game like Chan Gailey did ...then you can talk.

Let's see...Miami did'nt have a first round draft choice last year ...Boy ! dot hey Suck !! Wait a minute ! They did have one every year for the previous FIFTEEN ....then they must really suck.

 Poor Miami ....

Ali Ackbar:

Oh please. Like Johnson is the first athlete to have an ego or an involved parent. Do the parents of John Elway, Peyton and Eli Manning, Chris Simms and Matt Stafford ring a bell? Or what about Mitch Mustain's parents? What about the parents of Josh, Abram and John David Booty? Or are quarterbacks different?

Please. Georgia and Georgia Tech people are trashing Johnson in order to justify their program's not offering him. That is a joke, because there are plenty of players that the state schools pass up. They can't offer everybody, especially in years when there are limited scholarships. Tech got the RB that they wanted early, and UGA would rather go after out-of-state 5 star RBs since those are the only ones that ever produce for Richt's staff.

The rest is just bitter Buford people angry that a kid and his father chose trying to get the best educational and athletic opportunity for their son over helping them win yet another state title. They could care less that by backing up a 2 star recruit, Johnson would have been lucky to get an offer from UAB or Troy. So leaving Buford for Loganville paid off big time. Now you have jokers on here claiming that going to MIAMI is somehow a bad thing, as if MIAMI is Indiana or Baylor or something.

Well, like it or not Buford people, Johnson will be starting classes in Miami in 9 weeks. And he got in at the right time. Miami has 22 commits and started pulling offers last week.

Since you are on here trashing your own school academically (making the nonsense claim that Miami is no better than Florida, FSU, USF and UCF and claiming you only went there because of the scholarship) AND trashing Storm Johnson (predicting that he will fail athletically AND academically) then it is obvious that you are NOT a Miami student or supporter, but likely another of the Buford

I will be glad to show you how to type a comment before choosing the submit button. Maybe then you could avoid the fact you look like an idiot.....but then again, maybe not.
