If he as good as the article suggest, Yech has a good one. Buck says we missed on OL the last few years is a bit misleading. We landed most of the ones we went after. However, they have underperformed this year. Either that or Knowshown made an average line look much better.

The other day Buck Belue was defending the UGA program on the radio by saying that they had missed out on a lot of offensive lineman in their last 5 “top 5″ recruiting classes. Well lets see now, as illustrated in this story, an offensive lineman that likes to hit people chooses Tech versus other programs where he has to take a beating from defensive ends rushing the passer 40 times a game. It doesn’t take a student wanting to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out! That offense is an offensive lineman’s dream and a defensive lineman’s worst nightmare just ask the Clemson and FSU NFL prospect’s opinion! This will only continue to snowball as more and more linemen make this choice(see newest recruiting classes)! Football coaches used to understand that their lines were the key to victory but now they believe it is the skill positions. Welcome to Football 101 on the Flats and a good team every year. Oh, and by the way, the skill guys are showing up to run behind these lines, catch wide open passes against single coverage, and play defense with a lead against desparate offenses who know that one mistake will allow that relentless offense back on the field!

CPJ knows how to build that O. From the front. It is great to see him landing these quality in state players. I think with GA in the flux that they are in, he should be able to continue the trend. Congrats Morgan, and GO TECH!!

I had the privilege to coach Morgan in both football and basketball at SGAA. By far the best lineman I ever coached and more importantly he is a great young man. I went to UGA and wish we could have gotten him but I will definitely be following his career at Ga Tech. Tech fans you are getting a great one in Morgan. Congrats Bailey!

Look at this. Comments about a Loganville D-1 prospect and it is filled with nothing but positive comments. Finally. Yes,it is possible. Why no “haters” here? Cause it’s AAALLLLLLL good!. Go Morgan! Awesome! BTW, those aren’t chop blocks, they’re lazy D-linemen falling over because they stood up. Silly huge rabbits, D-line is for men.

Smart and nasty, the new era of offensive linemen under Paul Johnson has officially started. Oh wait, didn’t everyone say that would never be able to recruit any good players to play in this “gimmick” offense.
