Latimore is going to visit Oregon because they have NFL quality facilities, a great stadium that creates an outstanding college atmosphere, some of the best tailgating anywhere, a style of offense that is very running back oriented and they let their players be totally involved in everything including designing those cutting edge uniforms that young players like. I have been to many college stadiums and I enjoyed my visit to Oregon the best.

Bama Stan-

With 3 slots available, I think we go for a LB, an OL, and either a RB or another one in the trenches.

QB - should be set for a few years
WR - Great talent there with a couple more coming in this year
RB - Have depth, but no stand alone feature back
TE - set for a few years
OL - Talent is there and depth is getting better, but never can have too many
DL - Has to become a priority for this team to get a pass rush and be feared up the middle
DE - I think we have commits from plenty, and hopefully they will produce
LB - Talent and depth is there, but always room for more LBs and DEs
CB - Very young, but excited about Boykin and Smith for the next few years
S - Some young talent in the making back there, and Ogletree will be a player

Some of you people are freaks. Damn these are 18 year old kids who have not proved a thing yet. I think some of you would probably sniff their underwear to try and figure out what they had for dinner the night before. I love college football but despise this whole recruiting process. Nowadays these narcissistic kids are holding press conferences to announce what school they are attending. I wish to god this whole obssesion by the national media with high school football recruits would have never started. I'm a UGA fan and sure I hope we get good players but when I here 40 year old men begging some punk kid from south carolina to come to UGA I want to throwup. Get a life. A lot of these hot shot recruits never amount to a hill of beans anyway. Some of them get to college and realize they ain't the big star anymore and can't handle it.

The Gators are going to have another great recruiting class. Just a fact. Bama and UT have good recruiting programs, too. Where does that leave UGA? Squabbling over 4th or 5th in the conference? Go DAWGS!

How many Gator shirts, tags, or emblems did you see 8 years ago? Yelp, just a bunch of bandwagon fans that were wearing UM and FSU gear a few years ago. How pathetic. When the great Teebow becomes a NFL fullback next year, they will start rooting for the next hot team.

I'm back. I must say that I haven't missed this teenage drama and gossip. Most of the true fans avoid all this stupid crap. Florida feels a sense of superiority, yet they are constantly trying to find flaws in UGA. HMMmmmm. Why? I have no idea who UF is recruiting and could care less. I predicted the RB was going to be a Gator and that's fine. He's a good kid that made a decision. This is the land of freedom. I heard some people keep making a mockery of teenagers/recruits. It could be because they were nobody's in school. I predict that Alabama will win it all this year. That is the best team that I have seen this year. In terms of recruiting, I am excited about this class. We are loaded with great kids that play hard. Our big weakness is pass rusher and this class is loaded. We have some of the best young talent in the SEC and I am very excited about the future.

12 NATIONAL TITLES - 21 SEC TITLES!!!

UGA extreme longshots for both Lattimore and Luc. But at least they WERE in the running.

LUC grew up a Gator fan - and is enamoured with the place and the team. He is merely going through the process as he has established himself and does not feel any rush to commit as URBAN is leaving a scholarship open.

Lattimore is a heavy lean with SC and Auburn. Word is he almost committed to Auburn - but Spurrier is all over him. Grew up a Gamecock fan.

Question for UGA DAWG fans out there:
With 3 more slots to give - what positions do you need to fill?

If I am UGA - knowing that most of my class is DE's - I would go after another OL, a DT, and a CB. WHAT POSITIONS WOULD YOU RECRUIT TO?

Also - have not heard about W. Ealey. What is his status - is he being redshirted?

What about the other RB from 2007 - Dontavious Jackson - was this kid a bust?

HOW BOUT those RB's at BAMA???? WE are the new TAILBACK U!!!!!!

ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE!!!!

12 NATIONAL TITLES – 21 SEC TITLES!!!

UGA extreme longshots for both Lattimore and Luc. But at least they WERE in the running.

LUC grew up a Gator fan – and is enamoured with the place and the team. He is merely going through the process as he has established himself and does not feel any rush to commit as URBAN is leaving a scholarship open.

Lattimore is a heavy lean with SC and Auburn. Word is he almost committed to Auburn – but Spurrier is all over him. Grew up a Gamecock fan.

Question for UGA DAWG fans out there:
With 3 more slots to give – what positions do you need to fill?

If I am UGA – knowing that most of my class is DE’s – I would go after another OL, a DT, and a CB. WHAT POSITIONS WOULD YOU RECRUIT TO?

Also – have not heard about W. Ealey. What is his status – is he being redshirted?

What about the other RB from 2007 – Dontavious Jackson – was this kid a bust?

HOW BOUT those RB’s at BAMA???? WE are the new TAILBACK U!!!!!!

ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE!!!!

Chuck Uga... the reason you see so many kids list Oregon is rather simple. Forget that they have been good for a number of years running. Their facilities are 2nd to none, thanks to NIKE alum Mr. Knight. SI listed them in the top 5 in game atmosphere. Because of the configuration of their stadium, it is the loudest place in college football. Even though it is only around 60,000 capacity. And last, it never rains in Eugene on a football Sat. I myself have been to 3 games in Eugene to watch the Ducks. I have seen what they are talking about.

Sharrif Floyd, I appreciate you being so open with your love of the beautiful ladies of UF. However, you should visit the rival hotties of FSU and UGA; they are even better.

Marcus Lattimore and Jeff Luc are silent commits to Georgia, part of the reason Lattimore did not set an official visit to Georgia is because he has been to Georgia on several unofficial visits and fell in love with the place.

I don't get the interest Lattimore has in Oregon. Must have family out there or something.

Marcus, UGA is the place for running back legends like yourself. You will be one, so may as well become one in red and black. Here's to hoping so anyway.

Penn State? R-i-g-h-t... FSU's dominance in recruiting (and championship games) isn't going to return until Bowden retires. That aside, Greg Reid is the best impact freshman I've seen this year.

1eyedjack you seem to have all the information, wouldn't surprise me if the rest of the SEC just gave up football, hope you can understand that the gators cannot sign everybody, its amazing on these blogs how the gators are getting all these players, well did you ever think that maybe some of these players might like a chance to play right away and maybe, just maybe these teams that don't know what to do with these players or how to coach them as you say just might, and i say just might be able to develop these kids sooner than you think, but heck what do i know that you don't, i wouldn't bet against the dawg coaching staff just yet, we are young and no we haven't looked sharp at all but a few more players at certain positions may just turn this into a strong unit before you know it, but hey, continue bashing the coaching staff at georgia telling us how everyone is going to the gators...

Since many recruits take a game's atmosphere as one of several factors in deciding where to play football, I looked up the games he'll be attending based on the dates listed for his visits. He'll be at the Florida State-Ga Tech game, the Auburn-Ole Miss game and the Penn State-Ohio State game. Once he experiences the "White Out" at Beaver Stadium, I'm sure he'll start asking JoePa what jersey numbers are available. There will be no need to go to Oregon.
