Well, it took UT YEARS to find a decent coach. Georgia is just going through their period of mediocrity and poor results. Maybe in 7 or 8 years they will make the NCAA again.

Well, when you hire a coach from Nevada who is a total unknown in these parts, and he doesn’t find a good recruiting assistant who IS known, what do you expect? Damon Evans won’t find any more success than Dooley did with the UGA hoops situation. It is the graveyard of SEC basketball. No support, too far for the majority of fans to drive and a total inability to recruit players from the home state. Thank God for football, baseball, tennis and golf where UGA is always highly ranked.

Wow… Fox hasn’t been in the job six months and you expect him to come in and turn it around in that quickly. At least we were in the hunt. How many times in the past have your seen where UGA wasn’t even considered.

It will some time, but Fox will make Georgia a winner. Then it will be a matter of holding on to the coach some of you clowns are already ready to toss.

Enjoy being 2nd in the East and 2nd fiddle to UK for your entire career.

Calapari is going to beeotchslap everyone in the league, especially UT. MSU will be the only challenger.

UGA will be lucky to win 4 conference games. The Mark Fox hire may tuen out fine but against Cal, Pearl, Billy D, Horn and Stallings, it is hard to get excited.

Enter your co UGA shouldn’t be going for the #17 point guard any way. Go for a top 10 point guard if you want to compete in the SEC. This guy is a part time backup waiting to happen.

well at least UGA is on the radar for some top recruits, they better capitalize this year in state because georgia tech is only going to take 1 or 2 players after favors and lawal leave. There is no way they can out recruit tech on a year when we take 5 or 6.

If Coach Fox cannot get the best players in-state— and he is NOT getting them– it’s obvious Damon Evans made the wrong choice. Hire a coach that can recruit or it will be more of the same– mediocrity– for years to come. Tell me again what Evans has done for the athletic betterment of the Dawgs? Scheduling games at Oklahoma State?

Congratulations and Good Luck to both McEachern’s Trae Golden and Norcross’ Jeremy Lamb. Golden has a sweet jumper with great passing skills and Lamb is a very hard worker who strives to improve. Both players are absolutely fun to watch.

Georgia has got to do a better job of keeping top recruits in-state in Basketball and even Football. Though at a football school like Georgia, basketball at times seems to have traditionally taken even more of a backseat to football than football does to hoops at a basketball school like, well, North Carolina. I admit that football hasn’t always been “front and center” in Chapel Hill, but, hey, at least we haven’t completely forgotten about the football team’s existence like a certain crosstown rival of ours….

Anyways, again, good luck to Trae Golden and Jeremy Lamb and I hope that they continue to use their God-given basketball gifts and talents as a tool to enrich and benefit their lives as well as using basketball to have a positive impact on the lives of others. Work hard, study hard and KEEP UP THOSE GRADES!
