I’m here at Dacula’s Barron Stadium watching the Grayson Rams put a bow around their good night’s work. It’s 37-0 Rams late in the fourth quarter and they haven’t had their starters in since midway through the third.
It was a good night for the college prospects I came here to see. Grayson running back Ean Pemberton left the game early in the third quarter with 148 yards rushing on 25 carries and three touchdowns. Defensive tackle Shawn Green, the Georgia Tech commitment, dominated the middle of the field and finished with an interception and a fumble recovery. I’d been hearing lately about Grayson’s senior safety Kori Gaines, who has committed to BYU. He had three interceptions on the night, which tells you a little bit about how the Falcons’ night went.
Wait a minute, touchdown Grayson. — 44-0 now.
But the big recruiting news Friday night wasn’t here but over at North Gwinnett, where they were shellacking South Forsyth. Bulldogs’ offensive tackle JuWuan James, an Alabama commitment since May, has apparently de-committed to the Crimson Tide, according to Scout.com. Reportedly he wants to look around again and is eyeing Georgia and Tennessee.
I’ll let you know more when I know more.

UGA is where James needs to be. With the injury to Sturdivent the Dawgs need a dominator at left tackle.

why would he want to go to UGA when he can go to a program with championship possibilities. He’s saying he’d rather play for Mark Richt who will win nothing?

Flo-Ri-Duh:
Seriously, when was the last time UGA actually had a good offensive line? Like all their other positions, UGA signs plenty of talented offensive linemen but produces few actually good players. Georgia hasn’t had an OL go in the first 3 rounds since George Foster and John Stinchcomb in 2003, which means both those guys were recruited and developed by Jim Donnan. JuWuan should only come to UGA if he wants his ceiling to be the 4th round like Max-Jean Gilles. And even there: Gilles was considered a future franchise left tackle, but left UGA as a right guard.
The place where JuWuan should consider: Ole Miss. Houston Nutt sends plenty of OLs to the NFL, the vast majority of whom were not nearly as highly recruited as the guys UGA wastes year after year under Richt.

I hope JuWuan picks the dawgs over the UcheaT. JuWuan can go see what other schools have to offer and pick a school that he feels better at it. If he wants to start right away than he needs to go
play at UT because they have 4 senior offense lineman starting right now!! GO DAWGS AND THE
CRIMSON TIDE!!

TENNESSEE is where James should be . . . Kiffin has the staff to get you up to speed for the college and pro levels . . . he plays whoever is PRODUCING on the field regardless of the years you’ve been there. It’s not EASY STREET but you control your own destiny with your behaviour and work ethics. Come to Knoxville young man!!

Gerald: Good Stuff!!… GRIFFIN: Typical UGA fan who does not comprehend!! by the way, his name is spell Gilles, not Gillis(that great GA public education). Gerald point is that, if Gilles was developed properly at UGA, he would have been a 1st ROUND pick, not a 4th ROUNDER…He lost millions of dollars that he will never get back!!!

James come on over to UGA we need you. Represent your state and play for the DAWGS. Also, bama will be on probation before long and you don’t want to be mixed up in that mess.

Maybe the Juwan discovered he could not get an education at Alabama. Or he could go to Teck and get mugged every night going to football practice. He could get any type of good degree his heart desires in Athens and also live in an All-America city!. Oh, and help win championships galore.

The one thing I’m concerned about is where can he get the best education. Football is a game until you make it to the next level. God willing he will make it.. Whats left though if he doesn’t. Thats what you people don’t think about. All you care about is those who play on TV every Saturday and Sunday. What about kids like the one from UGA that messed up his knee for the second time. It happened a week or 2 ago and already people have discarded him. Hopefully he had a good Major that will help him along in life and not the BS classes that they give you just to keep you eligible. These kids should be Students first.
