Joe Cox, you need to brush up on your Dekalb Co football knowledge first. Then focus on keeping a redshirt on one of those green freshman by playing well. Perkins is cold no doubt, but he wouldnt have put up 300 yds on SWD. Put that Parkview ruler away dude.

Mack Brown would have ran all over Parkview. SWD defense is way better than Parkview. Tell me, When was the last time PARKVIEW won more than 8 games.Yes 300 yards is a lot of yards, but the score was 10-7. Where are the touchdowns , did the kicker miss alot of field goals.The kid Perkins is good, but don’t compare him to J.D.

I’m the biggest Tech fan around, but some of you Tech fans need to settle down on here. Tech has gotten some good/great players in this class, but so has Georgia. Both teams are loading up on in-state talent. There is enough to go around. Perkins, Ayers, Bostic, Thomas, etc. are going to be great but most likely so are Stripling, Ogletree, Rodgers, and Malcome for UGA.

no homer football-no way keep your eyes on the game .Perkins will at best be one of the best fullbacks. Collins Hill has nothing else – nothing else not impressed 300 yards 1 TD if ref call back TDs so goes the yards. It just dont add up. Are We counting called back yards now? Somebody please help with the math how you run up and down the football field 3 times and come home with one TD. Wow amazing.

Perkins looks to be the best RB in the state by the end of this season.
The only question I have is whether or not Dwyer will have a strong enough season to become the 2nd best back to play college football in the state of Georgia.

Right now, I have:
1) Herschel Walker
2) Garrison Hearst

Can Jonthan Dwyer replace Garrison Hearst as #2? We’ll see. Moreno is a great RB but he’s no Dwyer, Hearst, or Walker (obviously).

Saw St. Thomas Aquinas High School on ESPN360 last night. They look like Tech, run a similar offense and are awesome. In the first quarter they laid 28 points on Upper Arlington, OH in the Horseshoe at Ohio State while holding UA to -1 rushing yards. Take a look at them if you get a chance. Would love to see us get a few of these guys who already know a lot of the system.

Yes, I was at the game if the OC had made better play calls, and the refs would have called a better game this would have been a 31 to 7 blowout!!!! Perkins never had a negative play in the game, most plays were physical up the middle/off tackle runs in the teeth of the defense. You don’t see many backs that relish the physical contact like this kid. I personally feel a 400 yard rushing game is in his future.

Yeah I saw when moreno tried to pull that hurdle move and take off at the goal line in the second half. I believe he got met by a linebacker and knocked on his ass. Didn’t want to bring it up but well u know. Are u really gonna talk smack about running games? Come on everyone is calling tech,s backfield the best in the nation except maybe that second homer p steele. Yes u dogs field a good offense usually but I think CPJ has this running back thing wrapped up. We have at least 3 backs this year that would start at most schools abd 2 of them at least would start at the second powe houses. Good luck to everyone,s team abd their season until we meet them. Stars is not all that count. You only get them by going to the right combines. And you need to start going 1st year of high school. You will find there are many of guys with stars that don’t have any offers and tons of boy with lots of offers with on stars. Are you saying the people running the combines know more than a college coach that’s recruiting to feed his family. Dont believe the hype from the stars. Watch some films, game after game . Not one hit wonders.

Some star guys are really that but most just are not. They will get in college and We will forget their names.
