Our schedule wouldn’t look so bad if Georgia would step up and improve our strength of schedule. Didn’t the Dawgs play W Kentucky, W Carolina and C Michigan in the past 3 years. (I guess W Michigan was busy last year) Out of Conference is weak for the Gators, but does it really matter .. when it all comes down to how you play in the SEC. See you in the BCS game – Go Gators!

Duluth Gator, I concur. While football is king cotton and brings in lots of revenues for UGA and seems as though the University gets the better end of the deal still fair is fair. The kid gets a free ride and a great opportunity to be coached by some of the best so one day he might play on Sundays but please don’t jerk their string. Recruiters spend a lot of time, energy and money so for some kid to say I am going to look around but I am a Dawg is ludacrous, unbelievable and shows a complete lack of maturity. It says I commit but I really don’t. Kid, make up your mind but don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth. If UGA is where you want to go and you verbally commit then you do not take trips. You concentrate on football and show respect to your future teammates.

If he’s “committed” to UGA he shouldn’t be taking these visits to other schools. Richt should follow CPJ’s lead and tell him that as soon as he steps on the plane, his offer is rescinded. Or at least tell him that he should rescind his commitment so that UGA can look elsewhere also. You have a limited number of scholarships to offer. You can’t sit around waiting to see if this kid is serious, only to find yourself on the short end at the 11th hour.

This shows a lack of character. You don’t commit and then go on party junkets to other schools.

they know thier stuff? now that is f’n hilarious. i worked with one of them in an auto mfg facility.

he couldnt do simple math. he couldnt read blueprints. he had no concept of what true positioning was about.

he sure could fix a tractor or sprinkler system though.

when he worked with other engineers he tried to hide his incompetance by cursing yelling an brow beating his fellow engineers. (kind of like the republicans and health care) that obviously didnt go over to well.

Georgia Tech is the “Sonny’s” of engineering schools. I believe they designed a lot of those parking decks that have been collapsing in Atlanta. And, look at that erector set that they call a stadium. 38-3 still makes me laugh.

Hate to break it too you nerds, but I am actually the architect of record at TWO buildings at GaTech…and yes, I am a UGA grad. Management undergrad and Masters from UTk, Arch-I. I didnt get my masters from UGA because it wasnt offered, but thanks to my wonderful Management degree, I have been able to work my up and now own my own firm. Now get this straight…Architects design, engineers make sure MY designs can be implemented the way I want them…so yeah, I HIRE tech grads, and pay them for their services…sorry, guys. OH, and while you are out, pick up my clothes from the dry cleaners for me..Thanks.
