>>go to JunkYardBlwag. All Georgia there.

LOL. 99% of the posters there are yellow wigs.

Only a woman would use a blog to post details about an injury to try and garner sympathy. Go to the basket weaving blog and post your ailments so the other womenfolk will "awe, poor thang" over you. It's bad enough a freaking gaytor spews here, but please, leave the pity party at home.

No yarn DDDAWG. But the compression stocking on my left leg that improves blood flow might be made of it. And check out the drug, Warafin. Warafin thins the blood and prevents reacurring bloods clots for highly inactive persons with extremity injuries (or just inactive people with blood clot issues). It is basically rat poison, so I doubt I would be taking it unless I needed to treat a serious problem with lack of movement and blood clots. Have a nice day.

dawg fan:

I read MANY TIMES that Corey Crawford was going to commit but did not after what happened to his friend Burns. Here is one of the MANY articles that it took me THIRTY SECONDS to find on Google:

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/story/784096.html

It reads "Corey Crawford, a rising senior Carver defensive end with an offer from Georgia, was with Burns in Athens and planned to commit as well, but changed his mind after the incident. He was not the only Carver player Georgia may have lost."

That was in the COLUMBUS PAPER. Here is one from AN ATHENS PAPER.

http://www.onlineathens.com/stories/072209/foo_467362133.shtml

Here is one FROM ESPN.

http://sports.espn.go.com/highschool/rise/news/story?id=4348798

A SAVANNAH PAPER.

http://www.savannahnow.com/node/756433

Is that enough? Or do you want more? Crawford would have committed to UGA but chose not to after what happened to Burns. Period. And now you guys can't even claim "this was all part of some plot to steer Carver-Columbus kids to Auburn by their coach" because this kid chose CLEMSON, not Auburn. Oh yes, Dell McGee also banned Tommy Tuberville's staff from his campus after Auburn's players teamed up on and beat up his previous QB DeRon Furr (who transferred to Memphis and was the MVP of their spring game at CB).

Look, no one is criticizing UGA for pulling Burns' offer. Burns himself has said that he got over it in a day or two. The problem was incompetence on the part of UGA's staff for failing to notify Burns before Dawg Night, something that Mark Richt himself freely admits and takes full responsibility for. Richt has been trying to make amends for it ever since, and McGee acknowledges that he will lift the ban once he is assured that the staff incompetence that led to this nonsense doesn't happen again. UGA screwed up and is trying to make things right. Admit it and move on. As this incident only cost you Bulldogs one player that can be easily replaced, it really shouldn't be a big deal. That is, unless you are someone who fundamentally lacks honesty and integrity. If you are someone who is fundamentally dishonest, well then stop rooting for UGA because Mark Richt and his players and coaches and that institution deserve better. Go find some corrupt dishonest politician and root for him or her, and that way the both of you would deserve each other.

Dawgtime...since you took up so much space to blast me in every way possible...I thought I would let you know something. Yes, I have spent a lot of time blogging recently. It has been a good diversion for me. Eighteen weeks ago I was injured in a serious car accident and only this week took small steps to learn how to walk using my left leg again (in addition to having emergency surgery later to remove a blood clot that ran from my left foot all the way to my intestines. I am just happen to be alive, my friend. And yes, I am looking forward to a full recovery from the accident so I can get back to the job I love and miss...including being with my wonderful immediate co-workers who graduated from places like Georgia, Holy Cross, Alabama, Samford, and unfortuantely FSU. And, yes, I hold a degree from a fine university located in Gainesville, Florida...where I graduated with honors. I then attended a graduate school in Chicago that is well known for its various and well-respected graduate programs. But, hopefull, I will soon be able to leave my bed, where all I can do is get on the internet, read wonderful books (most recent good ones..."The Genesis Project" by Tom Know last week and I am just finishing up "Cross Country" by James Patterson this week. I only watch TV when a good movie is ready for view. And, yes, my sentence structure and spelllllling are not alllllways pefectto when I blog, and I don't mind when other bloggers remind me of my errors. Have a nice evening, and don't hate so much in the future.

AAs a dawg fan I am going to defend my team. A high school player and coach have the right to go to any school they want. It is up to Georgia to recruit the players they want and hope they make the right decision to come to Athens. I am so sick of these web sites and hearing kids say I am not going there because they didnt offer my friend. So What!!!! The University of Georgia is bigger than Carver High School. Foe every player we dont get at Carver, there is another player at another school waiting to fill that scholarship. We dont need a marginal QB in BUrns we dont need this DE that decided to go to Clemson cause his buddy got disapponted. We have strong depth at both of those positions with players who have alot of promise. Carver coach get over it!!!!! Carver make AYP for a dam change!!!! If you guys only knew what scandals that circulate at Carver High

Dawgtime: WOW.. um i stopped reading after you said we just got rid of a great coach.. that is about the MOST asinine thing i have ever heard in my ENTIRE life.. Bowden was a good recruiter.. and an AWFUL coach... This is going to be the first year in more than a decade that we start with a new coach that actually has the balls to make a real gameplan.. Not to mention a hell of a defensive coordinator in Kevin Steele.. Not considered an elite team in the ACC? Not sure where you got that.. and honestly could give a crap less about what retarded SEC fans thing about any conference other then their own.. Eventually you will realize something.. Clemson was considered an elite team in the ACC based on talent the past 5 or so years... Bowden was a transition period.. Now that the talent is here and the consistent flow of talent is here it is time for an ACTUALY COACH in Dabo Swinney to create an elite team based on their play on the field and not on the talent in the locker room.. Personally.. I don't consider UGA an elite team in the SEC anymore either.. You have Knowshon, Stafford, Massaqoi and a stout Freshman WR and you can't do better then mediocrity... You act like UGA has proven themselves the almighty.. They are just the same old choke jobs as Ohio State has.. Clemson is a program on the RISE.. UGA is a program on the DECLINE.. have fun.. C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-R-S Fight Tigers! Fight Tigers! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! F the SEC and their retarded fan base.. its like watchin a circus with a bunch of elephant footed freaks

Dawg Fan 4 Life...let me "enlighten you" on some things....First, this is not a Georgia blog site. If you want to be on a Georgia blog site, go to JunkYardBlwag. All Georgia there. This is open to anyone interesting in recruiting, dude. Second, you are welcome not to read anything I write on here. I don't force you to read it. But I certainly have the freedom or the right to write it. How is that for infinite wisdom????

Tampa Gator, Let me encourage you to do your part to help the economy. Get a job. You post throughout the day which suggest that you lack a job and life. Based on your aggregious grammar and syntax, it is fair to presume that you have little education. You are nothing more than an instigator that gains a sense of pride and joy from making inciting and ridiculous comments. If that is not true, why are you posting on a blog that has nothing to do with UF? We all know that you have no legitmate answer. It is akin to your claims of inside knowledge of the UF program. The only thing you know about the Gators is what time and channel that they are playing on television. We all know that you are hiding all the UM and FSU team appareal in your closet. In a few years, you will be posting under another team’s name and making outlandish comments for that program. All you do is come on here trying to gloat about the Gators. We all know that UF won the national championship. We all know that Tim Tebow is a once in a decade talent. The truth is that the vast majority of your talent is upperclassmen. I have found it amuzing at how you try to minimize and marginalize kids will they say no to UF. If your school did not want them, how did you know their names? Yes, you are full of crap. UGA has more than 10 kids committed that have said no to UF. Mack Brown selected UF and we wished him well. That is called class. An elitist from the trailer park. Hmmmmmmm. Maybe the stimulis plan is working. Go DAWGS

Yeah, all this recruiting rating stuff and insider info is a marketing tool for a multi-million $$$$ business. I have to admit that I have been tempted from time to time to join one but I have figured that I can wait an extra day for info and be "fiscally responsible". Thanks for the fine job that Chip and the AJC do!!!

Dawgs are full at DE. Read any other website besides the AJC for true updates. Good luck to Corey, he sounds like a solid player. By the way I'm sure the Dawgs wish they had handled the Devin situation better/differently but unfortunately these things to happen when there are limited scholarships. I do KNOW for a fact that they have been in touch with McGee often since that issue and have already started the process of getting back in good graces with the Coach. We have offered Carver players for class of 2011; Gabe Wright who is a stud DT and Crowell a stud RB.

To Clemson 538, I am left wondering what gives the right to make some outlandish assumptions. To label all UGA fans as idiots, reveals a great deal about you. Let me set you straight. The true UGA fans have said nothing negative about your program nor the young man in question. I do not talk badly of teenagers. I leave that to the morons that gain a glimmer of hope of attention by posting ridiculous comments that have no purpose or meaning. It is sad that some of these pathetic people are allowed to communicate to the masses. Sadly, many young people feel like they are gaining recognition and acceptance by doing such things. In truth, they are perceived as mindless mental midgets. In truth, I am happy to see that the young man has settled on a D1 school and I wish him well. I’m sure he is a great kid with a bright future. I’m not going to minimize or marginalize him. Carver is a great high school that has close relations to UGA. Yes, we all know the media circus went wild with the story from last week. In terms of your personal insults, I have some results that you need to address. Your team too was ranked highly at the beginning of the year. Alabama whipped your highly ranked team too. What record did your team finish with? What bowl game did your team attend and what was the outcome? The reality is that Clemson is not even considered an elite ACC team and that is pathetic. You fired an excellent coach. Since you seem to have the delusion that UGA has inferior talent, I will post some results for you: The overall UGA/Clemson record is 41 – 17 – 4 in the favor of UGA. Your team has not defeated UGA since 1990. Yes, that is close to two decades. UGA has whipped Clemson in 5 straight games. Are you sure about your talent assessment? Yes, Clemson places a great deal of talent in the NFL. In many ways that is an insult to your program because it doesn’t translate to conference titles or major bowl wins. Before you get diarrhea of the mouth via your fingers, get treatment for constipation of the brain. Go DAWGS.

Lester, who said Georgia football has been on a decline? They have been on a steady diet of finishing 2nd to either Florida or Tennessee for the past 20 or so years. Just having some fun with you. Don't scream and yell back at me, please.

Executive Stinger.....man, people like you not only attack all the recruits that don't go to your school, but you and your kind are now bent on attacking the AJC sports writers. How about the story where Chip talked directly to Mack Brown on his way to FNL...that turned out to be a story when the kid changed his mind. I don't ever remember reading anything on Scouts.com or Rivals.com on that before FNL. I am sure Chip will get more stories of high interest when he has been on the beat longer and has established more recruiting contacts out there. I personally have enjoyed reading all his features so far, so give the trash talk to Chip a break, would you?

Wow.. UGA fans are honestly clueless.. you guys act like these star ratings actually effect how a player will turn out.. pretty stupid assumption... A pretty fair amount of 1, 2, and 3 star recruits or NR athletes even turn out a heck of a lot better than 4 or 5 star recruits.. you'd think you guys would realize this after you guys choked away a National Championship chance this past year... Clemson will gladly take him... But so you know.. Clemson has a star DE right now that is better than any DE on UGA's roster.. Da'Quan Bowers.. and a veteran that is just as good as any DE on UGA's roster in Ricky Sapp.. can't wait for this kid to show what idiots UGA fans are

ExecutiveStinger: With mutual respect, sir, the pay subscription sites do a fantastic job of providing its clients recruiting information. That's their job as a niche business catering to focused demographic and you pay them good money for that service. However, as a newspaper we provide content and information for a broad-based audience. You'll notice that there are sections for news and arts and entertainment and politics and other sports on this website. We try to provide a concise summary of recruiting news along with some perspective here for readers of all walks and loyalties here. And judging from the number of people that frequent this blog, a lot of folks appreciate it.

This is more evidence that 16 and 17 year old kids are not mature enough to make good decisions, particularly when they are fawned over by college coaches. The NCAA should prevent physical contact with high school players until after their senior season. When teenagers are being assured of millions of NFL dollars, it is hard for them to focus on school or reality.

To anybody thinking UGA is on the decline, choke on this, since 1970(39 years) UGA has the highest winning % in the SEC. Do the research.
With the talent pool in and around ga, UGA being the majority party of the empire state of the south, if you think UGA football will go on a steady decline you need to take up gardening and not college football as an interest.

With all do respect Chip, and Darryl, real college football and football recruiting fans or "readers" as you say check Scout.com and Rivals.com before they check here anyway. If would be one thing if you guys published information that no one else had, but believe me, that is NEVER the case. I know the Scout and Rivals sites well and they beat the AJC every single time. Every single time. I just like to click and see which story you got from another website. Fairly amusing.

To TampaGator, you might be able to write about your Gators all you want by contacting isportsweb.com, since it appears that the current Gator correspondent might not still be on board writing a column.
