Drew-GA, the ACC did not have a Mississippi St last year. There was a lot of talk about parity in the ACC last year, you know, sending 10 teams to a bowl game and what not. But, here’s one thing that I never saw mentioned: EVERY ACC team received at least 1 top 25 vote at some point in the year last year. That is an amazing fact. I don’t think that’s ever happened before, for any conference. Duke got votes in week 4. AMAZING!!! So, for anyone that says the ACC sucks, we definitely have the best bottom of the conference.

For people who don’t recognize Tech’s football history: there are two MAJOR awards named for Tech coaches, how many are named for UGA coaches…oh, wait, that’s right, none, zero, zip, nada!

When was the last time UGA had a serious Heisman (former GT coach) candidate? 1980, right? GT has had two in the past ten years. How many national championships does each have in the past 20 years? Now, tell me again why we’re not relevant?

TampaGator, what if? What would qualify as a bust on “Florida Night Lights” If ……..doesn’t verbally commit or……… doesn’t commit……. Define bust for us for this event. I know the possibiity of this happening are nil and none, right? Those prospects would not dare would they? I doubt seriously that you would be willing to do this. It would take courage. I only mentioned this because you have built this event up as an inaugeration or mecca pilgrimage of sorts. A little over the top in my humble opinion. Would you not agree or at least consider it?

Preston, please look up the reason why GT was not allowed back into the SEC!! From my understanding UGA was the one and only school that didn’t want them back in and block GT’s effort to get back into the SEC. Were they scared of GT? It was a big mistake by Dodd for leaving the SEC.

I’m a Tech fan and I love to celebrate my 45-42 victory over Georgia in 2008. I like other jihadist Tech fans have amnesia and can’t remember that Georgia beat us 7 straight times including the worst beat down of the century only a few years earlier. Although I ride a seatless unicycle, wear a propeller cap and attend Islamic classes at Tech I still find time to be obsessed with wishing I went to UGA, where I could get a better education and not learn how to terrorize America.

I expect commitments will be pouring in to the Gators after Friday Nights Live in Gainesville this weekend. Just to name a few of the 140 Srs. and Jrs. scheduled to attend: 5-star LB Jeff Luc, 5-star RB Mack Brown, 5-star LB Ronald Powell, 5-star DE Corey Lemonier, 4-star WR Chris Dunkey, and 4-star DT Dominique Easley…just to name a few of the big names that will be in Gainesville to see those 2 national championship trophies lit up in the center of the Swamp while listening to “We are the Champions” played loudly over the speakers while highlights of the romp over Ohio State and the shut down of the powerful OU offense is shown on the big board while the big Gator growls. Expects some announcements soon after this weekend or during the weekend. It is time for some Gator noise in recruiting land!

I love how the idiots say the SEC is overrated. I don’t even have to list the facts since they’ve been listed on thess boards many times, but seriously do you actually think the SEC is overrated? You have to be an idiot to think so. Yes, last year the league was top heavy in terms of talented teams compared to those at the bottom. The teams at the bottom were not as good as in the past. Yet, even if you want to look at that crieteria, which leagues have parity among them? Which ones don’t have teams like Miss. State at the bottom of their roster? Even if Georgia did lose to Tech and you have braggin rights over us, we still had a 10 win season and went to a good bowl game and won. And for us that was a let down of a season. If Tech won 10 games they’d have a parade to celebrate it, give all their coaches extensions, and act liek it was the second coming of Christ.

Just because you’re jealous doesn’t mean you have to hate on our Conference. You can scream “45-42″ all you want, you earned that right. But don’t resort to stupid remarks when facts support otherwise. It’s just a natural fact that as a whole we’re better fans and our schools care more about football than your’s do.

It all depends on how you count championships. UGA only counts outright titles, so in that case, we have 2. If you want to include shared titles, as Tech does, we have around 7 total. Anyone can slice and dice the facts to make themselves look good.
