Uga is starting joe cox. really? this is really the hope for uga ftball this season? really? spring game final score in athens 13-3. really? if it isn’t already apparent mark richt is a choke artist. ask any fsu fan from their experience with him. did you see him panic in half way through the 3rd quarter against tech? having the whole team take a knee trying desperately to convince a bunch of brain dead meat heads that they should be winning. uga had a bye week before they played tech and still had nothing. pure arrogance.(credit lsu for putting the boot down and stopping us).

and to the dip sh it that said gt and unc are the only teams improving in the acc really? I wonder how you got a tv in your colon so you can watch it with your head up your ass. watch alot of acc foot ball do you? If that isnt some scared little man trying to belittle not just one team but twelve.really? unc gt ncsu fsu miami clemson ALL on the rise. lots of youth and plenty of heart will take this conference a long way in the next few years. its only been 4 or 5 years with twelve teams. guaranteed bcs money not to mention we had 10 bowl teams last year. thats a lot of dough to spread around plenty of room to grow and be more competitive nationally.

I think it’s funny how when tech shuts down the dawgs (45-42), and starts recruiting better within the home state theres all this talk about how the ACC sucks and blah blah blah, but to me it’s as though uga doesnt even exist. I’ve been to athens plenty of times and there aint sheeot there. Ooh, down town athens is the hipster place to go and hang out and watch the meat market in action. thank goodness my friends that live there dont give a f uk about uga foozeball. The town of athens sucks, the locals are mediocre at best, the local team sucks, the local team fan base sucks. If it werent for 316 it would just be a two hour drive down a dirt road to nowhere. The ATL is where its at. I wouldn’t be surprised if mark richt and his entire staff were fired in the next four years. THWG.

UGA and GT are both doing very well and I think both programs will really put the state in the elite company of Texas, Florida, and California. So in my mind Tech competing is a win win situation it gets more players in state as seen by UGA’s recuriting this year.

GTvet is either an obvious poser for some rival school PRETENDING to follow GT or he is simply clueless . Chris Jackson was NEVER a troublemaker at Alabama and he was MOST CERTAINLY NOT A SLACKER .

The fact is Coach Saban did try to talk the young man into staying because he handled himself EXACTLY the way he was supposed to while on the team . Trying to manufacture a straight out LIE on a kid who never caused problems for the team is pure garbage .

He is a talented young man , a hard worker and he handled his transfer from Bama with nothing but maturity and class as well . No knowledgeable Tide fan has ANYTHING bad to say about Chris or his time at Bama , his work ethic or for that matter even how or why he left . Anyone pretending otherwise is a fake or a fool .

Congrats on the transfer Tech fans . Chris will work out fine for you of that I am sure ….

Miami and FSU enter the ACC and immediately slide into a blackhole. Boston College fields a competitive team most years but has not been relavent in the top 10 for sometime. VaTech is the only team that has been consistent since the entered the ACC. VaTech is a solid program, but has not won a MNC. GT has had one good (not great) year and they are the end all of CFB promoting Dwyer for Heisman. Wake has reared its head in a declining year, Maryland, Virginia, Duke, NC State, Clemson, what have they done? UNC and GT are the only two teams that have shown any hope of improving. Two schools rising in down sloping conference. Graph it in your calculus class and you will see that things are not going well in the ACC for football. GT & UNC improvements do not make up for the slide that Miami and FSU have taken in the ACC. FSU doesn’t fill up its stadium for all of the conference games anymore, Tech struggles to fill their stadium, the ACCCG has declined in attendence since its inception. By the time Tech wins the ACCCG, the ACC will be as relavent as the MEAC.

I am sorry. I have to confess.. I am not a UGA phan. To those who thought I was, I guess I just like hiding behind my keyboard, wishing, dreaming, of being amongst the elite, the proud, the delirious. I am a Tech fan. I confess, I, along with many other Tech fans revile in the future of GT football and its future. CPJ and his triple arse whipping option offense never gets old, just better.
And to think, last year was his first year! Think about that! No really think about that. Took a bunch of smart kids, of which he didn’t recruit, said you and me is going places, and took it to everyone. Talk about coaching up..

I think there was a time where GT was on equal ground when GT was in the SEC. Things have changed. Now UGA gets the cream of Georgia’s students thanks to the state. This leads to better players. GT joined the ACC, big mistake. Ask FSU or Miami.

I am not even sure you are a better basketball conference now.

The bottom line is I need to go and tell my brother that the Big 10 is a sorry conference. I guess everyone likes to argue with the best, SEC.

Yes, I was there and all championship games in Jacksonville. I am a sports fan. Other than the first game the rest of the ACC championship games were very badly attended. You did not even need a ticket to get in.

Now I remember bad weather GA FL games and it had no impact, they were sell outs. Or look at the SEC championship, one week to go to determine the teams….. sell out. The Bottom line is the weather is not going to stop a championship game for any conference.. Wait, for the ACC it is.

Maybe, you might think about taking pointers from Wake.

I sense this is a game for you, but I’ll humor you to humor myself…

My argument: “Dawg” fans know a lot about losing in Jacksonville.
Proof: I’m aware of the all-time series record between the two schools, but for the purposes of relativity, let’s call the “modern era” the last 30 years: UGA 12 UF 16. Yes, 12 + 16 does not add to 30 because there were two UF wins that took place on the respective schools’ campuses. I’d say that’s a sound argument… and that from a lowly engineer who tells people how it is, rather than having to argue about it.

There’s no need to bring up Tech’s futile efforts over the same time span because they aren’t germain to conversation at hand.

So you were at the Wake GT championship game? Do you freakin remember how miserable the weather was that day. And then add that Wake has a an alumni base that is about as big as some other colleges fraternities and you do have a small turnout to the game… How many Wake/Tech fans do you think jump on the bandwagon of those schools. Very little.. Either you went to both schools or had a family member go to those schools to be a traveling fan… They don’t have billy bumpkin fans… Go UGA… I beelieve in you!!!
