Really?……Rivals also has a lot of Georgia players with no stars at all. Please take the time to read my blogs if you are going to respond to them. Also, the only reason Georgia is rated higher on Scout is because they have one more recruit. Scout goes by total number of points based on total number of recruits. As I said in my blog, if you will go back and read it, is that Florida and Georgia are basically the same right now in recruiting and I am wondering why so my Georgia fans are acting like they are kicking Florida’s butt in recruiting, which they aren’t. You guys are acting like Florida’s world is about to come to an end because you signed this guy or that guy, never bothering to look at who Florida is getting commitments from. I guess you guys think Urban Meyer is just sitting down in Gainesville picking his nose and wondering what he is going to do to beat Georgia next year because they signed this guy or that guy. In addition, I personally go by and put more value in Rivals rating system because it is not based on total number of recuits. Therefore, even though Florida did not sign that many players last year, Rivals rated the class very high because the class was not only filled with blue chippers, but with guys who met a need for the team. You can go out and sign 32 recruits like some unnamed teams did last year and end up with a higher rated class than others. In reality, many of those recruits will never see the playing field or the classroom. So, REALLY?…nice try back to you!

Love to see the homegrown talent stay instate!We are restocking our roster with some great athletes and should contend for SEC championships for years to come.The teams with the best players wins the most games overall.Fla,ALA and LSU have honestly recruited a bit better over the last 3-4 years (not by a wide margin)still better though.This year looks like UGA may come up with the top class in the SEC..which lately means best in the nation.As long as you can get top notch talent together with good coaching you will win ball games.All Richt knows is success..10 years at FSU as OC/QB coach…108-15,10 straight 10+ win seasons,2 NC,2 Heisman winners.At UGA 82-22,30-4 on road,all time wins leader at QB,2 SEC championships,1st pick overall QB…success is part of this mans life story and I fully expect that to continue to be the case.

to all Gator fans: UF was absolutely recruiting this kid. great pickup, dogs.

to all the genius dawg fans on here: yes, UGA is recruting well…but when has UGA not recruited well in the last 5 or so (maybe more) years?
Every year UGA is in the top 10…is there a marked difference between #3 and #7 (for example), in some of the years where UF has come out on top? you guys beat us for Atkins, Reshard Jones, Byrd, Owens, Moreno, and probably more….

What you fail to recognize, though, is that WE STILL KICK YOUR A** every year. Yes you are recruiting well, and getting some players, but we CONTINUE to stay ahead of you and every other East Team. And ‘bama and LSU are right with us as far as recruiting, so you’re gonna continue to have a tough road. it’s going to take #1 recruiting classes (like our tebow/spikes class) to make a dent.

Get excited, you got a good guy, but don’t expect Gators to care or all the sudden fear/worry about it. just as SOS said back in the day:

“Why is it that during recruiting season they sign all the great players, but when it comes time to play the game, we have all the great players? I don’t understand that. What happens to them?”
