This guy is NOT that good trust me I played with him. TERRIBLE attitude and TERRIBLE work ethic. Doesn’t do anything in the weight room and fails all his classes. Purdue puts “favorites” in college and usually sends them only to UK. Gunsby cusses out his coaches and they do NOTHING about it. Will enjoy to see how long he lasts wherever he decides to go; should be rather funny!

Case you dumb uf fans dont know pro players celebrate in the end zone.I forgot only one uf would know that & he’s retired.Champ Bailey was ranked by Sports Illistrated to be one of the top ten players since proball began.No uf,miami or tech players made it.Ga is #1 in the ncaa strenght of schedule since all teams began playing 9 inter confrence teams a year,uf is ranked 12 behind ohio.Go Dawgs.

Bulldog fans who had such high hopes last year… how did that work out for you all??? Florida and our coaches knows how to prepare and deal with the pressure of being consensus preseason number one. Even if we don’t win it all this year we should be real good again and gators know how to deal with pressure for sure. Coach must like this kid because he has someting to contribute at QB or not.Bulldog fans are just eating sour grapes again…

Why the slur at UK, I think that for all the five stars Meyer gets UK has more QBs in/around the NFL than Florida, where is their last NC QB? UK uses a pro offense and has very good coaching at the QB position, Tebow is a great athlete and is a winner but it isn’t even certain what position he will play in the pros yet. UK probably has the best pair of QBs coming in the SEC this year, and there is a reeason for it.

I would assume that Gator and Dawg fans would love their teams if they both lost every game – every year. A true fan loves his team no matter if they win or lose. I played division 1-aa football in college and started all 4 years, I read the comments here and realize that you either never organized sports or you did and didn’t learn anything from it.

I do know that team success and peril is cyclical. A team is up for 3 to 5 years, then they are down. Coaching changes have the biggest effect, and that can be a defensive coordinator or line coach not just a head coach.

Florida and Tech can beat Georgia every year as far as I am concerned. Even as a kid that grew-up wanting to play for the instate bulldogs. Outside the lines of the game, I realize I learned more off the field than on the field. I love the game, but fan’s are crazy around here.

Go dawgs..and best of luck to everyone’s team.

NOBODY sees and develops talent better than Urban Meyers staff. I was mad a couple of years ago when they “wasted” a scholarship on little known, little recruited, and just plain little Brandon James, who nobody else seemed to want and now he’s a national champion All American returner. Same with Terron Sanders, a DT from the Bradenton area who one local HS coach told me would never be an SEC player. Then Mickey Marotti got ahold of him and turned him into a beast! Had a great year last year (remember his fumble recovery and hits on Stafford last year?) and now looks like he will have a monster year this year. Dallas Baker and Louis Murphy were both a joke when Meyers staff arrived. Jarvis Moss couldn’t get on the field. Derrick Harvey was an underachiever. They all now own those shiny rings that say “National Champion”. And I can go on and on…

I’ve seen this kid play quite a bit over the last two years and he’s a great player. Great size and speed for a kid of his size. He was playing WR when I first saw him and then moved to QB midseason two years ago. I also watched UGA commit and Newnan High School safety, Alec Ogletree almost dislocate his head from his neck last year in the season opener. Newnan opens up with LaGrange again this year, I would advise anyone that’s looking for a good hard hitting football game with passion and D-1 athletisim make a trip to LaGrange Aug. 28. Gunsby vs Ogletree should be fun to watch.

If the Gators want this guy, they obviously think they can use him somewhere; and if he’s good enough for them, he’s good enough for anyone else.. Troy, Georgia, or anyone in between.

That said, these smug and arrogant Gator bloggers make me crazy, . The only way I can put up with it is knowing that most of us Dawg fans had the same exact attitude in the 70s and 80s when the Dawgs dominated. Ive only missed 5 ga/fla games in 35 years, In the 80’s, most years we would just laugh at the pathetic Fla fans all the way out of that dump called the Gator Bowl. But now things have changed and until the Dawgs can play the gators even up over a several year period, there isnt a whole lot we can come back with. We just need to strap it on and beat those stinkin lizards at least half the time, thats all. And it needs to be in Jacksonville..we need to quit whining and start winning.

p.s. I met some stinkin Gator fans at Ginny Springs, FL last weekend on a dive/camping trip..Now I know: a/ that place is way too cool to be so close to Gainesville and b/ there ARE some good Gators out there..I knew they had to be somewhere..just didnt know I had to look in an underwater cave to find them .
