If you want to talk about beating UGA – that’s fine. But you may as well fold your cards on Academics. It was Georgia Tech losing scholarships due to low APR marks, not Georgia. UGA Academics continue to rise each year, while Tech is ‘at best’ flat. The gap is closing. You know it, we know it – let’s move on to something tangible.

Looks like a fine young man. I’m sure that he will do well. I hope all these young men do well, no matter where they play.

SAINT SIMONS and I were going to meet at a bar and beat up a girl and then I’m going to get on with my life like nothing happened. I wonder what happened to Mike. I hope he’s well. Oh well, we were going to have a study hall to make sure we could pass electrical engineering and Joe Hamilton was going to be the leader, but … he doesn’t have a driver’s license any more. But he started for four years, surely he could have done something….oh, he played in Canada and then he had two more years in order to graduate??????? SAINT SIMONS what are we going to do? I can’t control myself. I’m sobbing… WWWWWWHHHHHHHAAAAA.

I still can’t find SAINT SIMONS, we were to meet at a bar and beat up a girl. Oh my, he must be at the study hall with Sammy Drummond, Tico Brown and Joe Hamilton. Wait, Sammy Drummond and Tico Brown flunked out of school, I guess it was calculus that got them. I wonder where Joe is?

PS – Tech’s academic standards have taken a serious blow over the last several years with all the scandals and criminals you have in your program. Tech is a pathetic place to go to school. Is there anyone at that school that can speak English or isn’t a member of AQ?

If you’ve got any sense you know that if you want to attend a public in-state school and major in engineering or international affairs, you go to Tech. If you want to major in management, Tech is one of several good choices (including UGA). Otherwise, you’re going somewhere else if you want the best public education you can get in GA. (UGA’s international affairs program is pretty good too though.)
To say that academics are better at Tech than UGA is like saying blondes are than brunettes. Nevermind, true Tech alums won’t even understand that analogy.

who cares if you go to a prestigous university? go where you want to go. that’s all that matters. I’m a structural engineer…a PE and SE, licensed in TN, GA & AL. I didn’t go to Tech. You know what? It doesn’t make a damn bit of difference. Get over yourselves. Never in my life have I seen such an elitest attitude…no, actually I have…from the DNC…congrats on that similarity

UGA M.D. pretty much summed up the academic debate.

One thing Elam said concerns him is he has heard rumors there will be coaching changes at Florida after this season. He declined to say who had been providing him with those reports.

“I’m still committed to Florida,” Elam said. “I’m just looking around to see something different in case something goes down and I can’t go to Florida anymore.

“… I’ve heard a lot about coaching changes and things like that and I haven’t visited any other places but Florida. I want to look at other places and give other people a chance.”

That’s about the most uneducated statement I’ve ever read. Grammatically and otherwise. I would hazard a guess that Emory puts out some pretty good students as does Oglethorpe. The only university in the nation with with two Rhodes Scholars can’t be too shabby either. Offhand, I would rate the state technical school fourth at best…

Malcome is excited to be a Bulldog and also glad the process is over. But while he is planning on focusing on school and football, Malcome also let UGASports know he is not done with recruiting entirely.

“I’m trying to get my cousin (T.J. Stripling ) to come with me. He is still trying to decide between Georgia and Florida. Georgia is one of the best schools so it is real hard for him to decide which one to go to. Both are good schools. I am still trying to get him,” added Malcome.

Another player Malcome wants to joins him is actually a long time football rival. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that they both play the same position.

“Mack Brown and me have both played running back since we were four years old. We have been competing ever since, and I am going to try to get him to come too,” said the Decatur native.
