Happy to see a local kid stay close to home, well closer than WV. But I’m sure that his high school coach being an Auburn alum on the ‘89 SEC Championship team had nothing to do with the decision. Can only wonder why the Jess Simpson doesn’t get more kids over there, rather than some of the other big time schools his players go to (ND, Oregon, etc.).

You guys are seriously a classy bunch when it comes to college football blogging. I really appreciate the kind words and I agree it is very cool he considered his family in his decision. He seems like a great young man and we will be happy to have him on the plains.

And for the UGA alums and fans I only hope we can stay in the game with you guys next year and personally I do a lot of business in Athens and love it and I hope that if we can’t play each other in the SEC championship then I pull for you guys.
