Georgia Tech reels in three more commits

In one weekend, Georgia Tech nearly doubled its number of committed players from the Class of 2010.
Georgia High School Football Daily reports that Loganville guard Morgan Bailey, Adairsville guard Catlin Alford and Sandy Creek safety Isaiah Johnson all made known their intentions to become Yellow Jackets, giving Tech seven commits.
All seven are in-state players — the others being Jefferson County quarterback Barry Bostic, Northview defensive tackle Denzel McCoy, Collins Hill running back Charles Perkins, and Thomasville safety Fred Holton.

I love seeing “3 star”, top 25 at their position guys on the recruiting sites with no offers. Then you have a guy like Isaiah Johnson that is not rated but has offers from GT, UGA, Miami, Ole Miss, S.Carolina. As much as we love to follow recruiting, no one knows how good their class is until these guys are sophomores in COLLEGE.

Four solid pickups counting Bostic on Friday. Nice work CPJ and the rest of the staff. CPJ said he was going to heavily recruit the state and he’s made good on his word.
I’ve never seen a fan base so scared of what’s about to happen to them. It’s great to be a Jacket!!!

The great thing about us getting all this in-state talent is that we’re making strong connections with the high schools and coaches in Georgia. As the team improves each year we’ll start moving to the top of the list for the four star Georgia recruits. Then we go nationally to pick up more talent because we play on a national stage on Thursday nights and we play outside of our region like Kansas in the next couple years. CPJ isn’t just improving this team now, he’s building a program for the future.

Having Paul Johnson as our coach means we will continue to get the top recruits in the nation as we always do and that we will beat the hated DAWGS at least once every 8 – 10 years. Paul’s the greatest!

The best part about CPJ is that he doesn’t need five star recruits to beat up on the Rednecks from Athens. He knows how to coach, scheme and adjust to turn three star players into winners. Ten years from now the pups will be ones hoping for a victory over us once every five years.

Two of the trhree turned down the crap eating dogs to a team that that ran them off the field in the second half 33-14! Then cried about tech fans tearing up the hedges? Thats all you butt sniffers are good for, is being king of crap and not making any sense? These kids were no good huh? Why did ugay offer 2 of the three?? UGA just got a Jax commit. Funny, I think Richt doesn’t think about the recruiting exposure he’s getting in N. FL by playing down there every year. Richt is a good guy but doesn’t seem to get the whole picture. Just not a street smart enough of a man.

Here is Loganville High School’s schedule if you would like to come watch Morgan Bailey #72 and figure out for yourself why this giant had 15 offers thus far (and his film has not been evaluated yet for ranking on Scout or Rivals). He is one of the top 3 lineman in the state. I’d bet my Master’s from the University of Georgia on IT!

@LHS Coach – the guy who covers Georgia recruiting for scout.com says that Morgan Bailey is one of the top 5 OL in the state “without question.” I’m assuming he thinks Bailey is pretty darn good.

please keep in mind the difference in the way gt fans treat all recruits vs the way ugagers treat all recruits.
if uga signs em than they get the royal treatment but if they dont than they trash them, the school they play for and their families.
if we dont get a young man we gt fans just wish them well.
its all about class.
keep that in mind the next time you have a chance to sway a young man in our direction. we appreciate your help.

One thing you guys need to understand, just because a kid “visits” UGA or ANY campus doesn’t mean he was offered a scholarship. Georgia just had a football camp and not EVERYONE is offered a scholarship. Geez, get over yourselves.
The kids you signed may turn out to be great players, but to insist you’re getting the top talent in the country, and that everyone who commits to you was offered by UGA, is delusional.

To all UGA fans that say these kids are crap, ok, but these garbage players beat ya’ll last year. And really, I think that Mark Richt really isn’t that great of a coach. Think about it, he pulls in a top ten recruiting class each year, but yet can’t win a national championship, and only win 2 SEC championships. Give Paul those players, and see what happens.
Also, i just wanted to say that, as a student at Loganville High School, I can vouch for Morgan Bailey, he is the real deal. I don’t know how he is only rated as a 3-star, he can play.

Man i sure do love my team. CPJ is the man i cant wait till he comes out of the closet. Our campus is built around a huge gay orgy mecca and we dont admit women to our school. We beat ga once every ten years so we are the shiznit for sure. The option is so fun to watch, ask all twelve fans that came to our home games this year. Wait, i am in my moms basement and i hear he coming downstairs so i have to go. 45-42.
