What happens between the lines obviously doesn’t court as much as media spin or the perceptions of delusional fans. If the games themselves mean anything, West Virginia has more than held its own against SEC competition. Off the top of my head, I can think of wins over Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State (2) and Georgia in the past few years. I can recall no losses to SEC teams of recent vintage. West Virginia also has wins over North Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech and Georgia in its bowl games of the past four years.

Who cares, the weather is beautiful here in Colorado. West Va fans, your team did win in the sugar bowl that year. Hats off to that. You tech fans, your team did win this year, hats off to that. 3 points each, but a win is a win. It is summer time, get out and enjoy the weather, your family, and life in general. It looks like he is the same size as Champ so I guess that makes him to small to play ball. I think that there is another player that size this year, oh yeah he played offense, his name is Percy Harvin, not too bad of a player either. The next thing you guys will be saying is that Jake Scott was too slow, Terrell Davis was too thin, and Hines Ward was too banged up. They are all MVP’s in the NFL’s big game. Get a life and get off of the kid. He is just making them most of what tools the good lord gave him. That is a lot more than most of you are doing!

I’m a grad of an ACC school, but not WF. That said, when I consider WF, a small highly-respected school situated on a beautiful campus in a fine mid-size city, a select student body, and outstanding sports programs, I don’t think many schools can compete. If a football player has his head on straight, he would pick WF over both UGA and WVa.

The guy can coach, and recruits are starting to figure that out.
