I'm scared sheetless to face Chizik... especially at JH stadium.. that place is SOOOOOO scary! It could be as bad as athens & the great blackout of 2008. gosh i hope Saban is game planning for that game already.

It's so funny listening to the barners on here. Ya'll keeping dreaming and hoping that a 5-19 coach can beat a proven winner. HAHAHAHAHA!
The domination will continue this year and for many years to come.....

Auburn's schedule for 2009 is as tough as any team in country. La. Tech, West Va., Ball State al went to bowls last year. The conference is tough as always Tenn. and Kentucky from East along with Ga every year makes for a difficult go this year. Look at Alabama's weak schedule for 2009.

Yeah I agree completely about Willie...Never once last season did I feel comfortable with the lead and the saddest thing is that the players on the field seemed completely befuddled and confused. It was like they skipped the whole wk of practice and just threw them out there.

Georgia is on the cusp of being an elite program but its not there yet. Our recruiting is almost there too. But before any of that comes to fruition....it is going to take a bad to the bone D-Cord that knows how to translate from clipboard to his players how to play defense.

Until then, as much as I HATE to admit we will always be chasing after the Ohio States, USC's, Florida's.

What you are doing is hoping that Bama loses scholarships because you think that would be an advantage to Auburn. What you don't realize is that you all aren't in the running for half the players we get so it won't make a difference. It's not happening anyway, but if it does, it will not benefit Auburn. And big deal about the top 2 players visiting. That's the difference between Auburn and the top schools, Auburn gets excited when someone visits while the others are trying to decide which ones they need the most. Who cares about visits because once they see your school and then go to schools like Bama, Florida, LSU, and USC, they will forget all about you, just like 75% of the state. Maybe you should join the SunBelt...they would get excited about big time players visiting too. Give me a break. And, what is a shoolies??Ebonics?

obomaisaclown
what...you actually think they are going to lose 5 schollies for giving out some textbooks that gave no competitive advantage to anyone. You guys are desperate. Just because 2 top recruits visited your campus does not mean you are in line to get those guys. Talk about delutional. Jump back into reality and man up, the NCAA is going to make Bama go away so people actually know you guys are really in the state of Alabama. Get over it, focus on your own team and maybe you might win a game or two. I will give you this though....you guys reported the top receiver in the nation last year was coming to visit your campus but he necer showed, at least these guys showed up this weekend.....maybe?

I hate to tell all you Auburn fans, but the only thing that is going to happen to Bama is (maybe) a couple scholarships are taken away. That's it. I know you all hope that we are going to get "hammered" by the NCAA but it's not going to happen. It's sad that you want it to happen just so your team might be relevant again in the state. Not going to happen. You will still be stuck with your "chopblocking OL" and your 5-19 coach. Good luck with that!

Coming from the most penalized school in N.C.A.A. history , how could anyone take anything they say seriously ? The barners know now that with the hiring of chizit the only hope they have is for Bama to be crushed by the N.C.A.A. thats the reason why this Gasden rumor is floating around when in actuality the principle from Gasden said that the reason SABAN owned the barn was thats tubbs didn't even go to the school but maybe once . Tubbs knew he could not recruit against SABAN thats the reason for the new offense "the spread eagle" it seems that the school has now excepted that fact as well .As far as the tiger prowl goes the only people that thought it was a great impact for the school is the school , three -3- star players are all that the barn got to show for it ....lol.........

Funny how this fishing trip that is supposed to get Bama and Julio into trouble was paid for by an AUBURN booster! Oh, that's right! If you can't win on the field, the Aubie playbook is to b*tch, moan, and whine and hope the NCAA will believe your stories about yo DADDY! If that doesn't work, you conveniently start your own scandals on your rival, like this fishing trip and like the Gene Jelks case where Aubie lawyers gave him cash to spin tales on Bama. But that's OK, as long as y'all "keep it down home, cuz!" Right? You Barners are a pathetic bunch and you're embarassing yourselves and the league. If you spent half as much energy trying to improve your program as you do making up fairy tales about why Bama is kicking your azz, you might win some ball games. Man up and grow a pair, little sister. I don't hear UGA or UT whining about the can of whoop-azz we opened on them last year. No, the Barn is the only ones that can't take it. MOOOOOO 36-0

ha. auburn people make up rumors about bama & the ncaa. saban has a squeaky clean NCAA recruiting record. players want to play for him b/c he is a winner and get them into the nfl (how many first round draft picks did he recruit to lsu?). however, the NCAA is gathering info on Mario's car & a few others. it appears all that car bs got the NCAA into paying attention to auburn;s car problems...those in glass houses...

get beat by bama one yr, and you would think they own a 20 game win streak. I realize last yr was a horrendous yr, but Tubbs changed everything offensively and didn't let the OC bring any staff members with him to help. We didn't have the personnel and the coaches didn't get along with the new guy, result failure....Be careful bama, don't turn your back the Aubie's and Chiz will be there before ya know it

We didn’t have the personnel and the coaches didn’t get along with the new guy, result failure….Be careful bama, don’t turn your back the Aubie’s and Chiz will be there before ya know it

Word from the ATL:
1. AU and TN will be back near the top of their respective divisions in three years, if not sooner
2. Speaking of Sooner(s), no Big 12 title or NC appearance for the Okies this year
3. The UGA D, after being soft, lazy and injury riddled in '08, will be vastly improved this fall
4. Early commits will begin to dwindle over the next several years
5. AL and GT both have bright futures, but one magical season does not a dynasty make......

CMR's loyalty to Willie will cost us big this year ... maybe four losses. Georgia has four comittments. I understand taking time to evelatuate but how long does it take to know who the real players are?
Georgia concerns me this year. I don't have that special feeling I usually have. I'm not overly excited about the season. One of the main reasons is Willie on the sidelines. Can you say at least 35 points scored against us in at least six games? Mark this word ... Willie will cost us dearly in 2009. CMR made a very bad decision to keep Willie after the past season. I wish CMR the best but this was one of his worst calls ever.

I keep hearing about Auburn being bamers step-sister. But it's impossible to find a thread about Auburn without the bamers flocking to it with all kind of negative comments. I never bad mouthed ole Shula when he was at bamer. I kept saying what a great coach he was.
I don't think Coach Chiz forgot how to coach when he left Texas. It's also evident he knows how to assemble a staff when he's got the resources. I believe the ole bamer boys are bad mouthing him because they are afraid of competition. It's amazing how winning "one in a row" brings them out of the woodwork.
It won't be long until we're hearing that it wasn't really Julio's fault he went on that Cruise and fishing trip with the guy from Athens. The NCAA's always picking on bamer. Saban's as clean as they come recruting wise. LOL, I can't wait to hear the spin on this lastest round of events. If nothing else, bamers are very entertaining. lol

There are far more trailer parks in west opelika than in Title Town. Furthermore, if the NCAA doesn't punish UA as much as you barners hope, just cry in all of your toomer's toilet paper.

Hey Never, why is it that you folks over in West Alabama can't admit it when you are wrong? You can't live off of Bear and his infamous "shoeboxes full of cash" forever! You, I am sure, are aware of what is coming down from the NCAA----AGAIN! When this latest infraction of the rules comes out, it will be interesting to see how many of the verbals stay committed. Only then will we see who wins out. So until this happens, go back into your mobile home and drink some more Busch beer!

In 2 years when Tennessee is back and if Urban stays at Florida, Richt will be done, especially if he remains loyal to his bad D.C. Loyality is what got Fulmer fired in K'ville.....

Is that the best retort that you barners have? You have more probations than you have SEC titles. Your 1/2 of a national championship even came when you were on probation. Talk about pot meeting kettle!

Gator Growl,

Yep. It looks like the recruiting wars are basically just going to have UF, LSU, UGA, and BAMA in the top 5 or 7 every year. AU can still make the top 20 though. Its been fun watching Saban completely dominate AU in head to head instate recruiting. This past year I think they actually won the head to head battle with us over 2 recruits. Nevermind that they lost the other 10 that we both competed head to head for. But I think we swept the top 7 instate recruits and AU got # 8 and # 10. Can u say domination?

The year before in Julio's class Bama and AU went head to head over 14 instate recruits. The score was Bama 14 AU zero. The dominance continues.

If AU wants to compete they need to hire a head coach. Somebody mentioned Cheezit but I think that guy coaches the kickers. He aint no head coach.

Curtis Luper's excuse making for getting his butt whooped in recruiting is weak and pathetic. AU is just getting whooped. All the state talent wants to go to Bama. Rolll Tiddddeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
