Kiffin was too deceitful for the Raiders. Think about that for a minute.

Not to mention that he flat sucks as an offensive coach, which is what he is supposedly good at. Again – check what he did with the Raiders.

Honestly, the Vols and every SEC team deserve better than to have an immature compulsive liar running their football program. The DawgsDrool type of Vols fan that vehemently defends Kiffin does a disservice to the university. Of course, he posts like a 12 year old, so he’s probably never actually set foot on campus.

Eric Berry is a great freaking player and the only reason the Vols will play .500 ball this year. Vol fans better hope he stays healthy, or you’re looking at a losing season. Enjoy your beat downs, and all the crazy turmoil as Kiffen spins lie after lie, and throws his own players and coaches under the bus. And let’s not forget the limo driver… probably be his fault, too.

My problem with this situation is that the UT coach has already apologized. The comments were no made in public; they were made at a UT booster meeting. Now the principal wants him to come down there and apologize in person before he lets UT back on his campus. That is as bad if not worse than what Kiffen did. It is time for the principal to do his job and look out for the best interest of his students. Denying them a chance for an education at the school they want is not what he is there for. IF the Florida coach had made the same statement, would he do the same to them? NO… True, Coach Meyer would have had the sense not to say that in the first place, but the principal would not be making a big deal of it. Grow up and do what you are there for. None of the players or athletic staff at your school thinks it is a big deal.

Lane Kiffin is without a shred of doubt the best hire the Vols could have possibly made . The man absolutely deserves a lifetime contract and I would gladly devote a years worth of Tide Pride donations to chip in for it . If I were a principal, I’d ban ALL these bloodhounds from the campus. But if that were not politically sustainable, I’d make the coaches call for appointments, to be granted during the recruits free period IF HE WANTS TO MEET with the recruiter. And I’d sit in on the session myself and have any football staff members with a free period to join the meeting (at least one). It wouldn’t be a bad idea for Mama or Daddy to make the meeting, either.
Banning one and allowing others? It’s the principal’s call, but not the right thing to do, IMO. A coach should be singled out only for
going around the principal’s rules or committing an illegal or unethical act.

I still don’t know what Kiffin was thinking. The SEC is competitive, SUPER-COMPETITIVE, but we like to think that we have a little class in our competitiveness. I have a lot of respect for the University of Tennessee, and hopefully some of their class will rub off on this idiot. He left the thug-mentality of Oakland and Al Davis to coach at one of the premier institutions in THE premier conference in the nation. Time to act like he’s got at least half a brain and a little couth and class. If his mentality, attitude and approach can sway a recruit, we probably don’t need that kind of recruit at Florida. Our kids have a lot of class.

Let’s see, Kiffin misrepresented himself on a text message to one of the faculty members and then called out the school as a bunch of shoeless dummies who aren’t smart enough to use a fax machine. And someone actually comments it’s because the principal is a Gator fan that his crew isn’t allowed in school. Respect is something you earn, not something you are given because you’ve declared yourself king of all the land.

Ummm….what? “Prior to 07, uga had not lost IN TN since 99. That is pretty much ‘owned’.” The Truth, you must have had your head in the sand in 2004 and 2006. If you forgot, we dropped half a hundred on UGA in Sanford Stadium and beat them in our prior trip there.

And before UGA fans start talking about Championships I would just ask two questions. 1.) How many NC’s do you have since ‘98? and 2.) Who is the last team from the state of GA to win a NC?

Perhaps a real reporter would be curious as to why the principal had a UF logo on the school’s website until yesterday when the heat started to come down on him. Or why Richardson’s family felt it necessary to go somewhere other than the school to fax his letter of intent papers to UT fearing that someone at the school would alter the material and send it to UF. There’s a lot more to the story than the obvious. Perhaps some day an energetic reporter will delve into what really goes on at that high school since it affect many programs other than just Tennessee.

As a UGA fan, I have to side with the Florida-Meyer camp on this one. Kiffin is acting like a complete a**, and UT “fans” like tyler and baseballvol prove what kind of people are up there in orange country. As much as I hate losing to UF, they are a quality program, Meyer is a proven coach, Tebow is a class kid and Gators fans actually have something to brag about. When in God’s name has UT done ANYTHING in recent years to crow about? How many SEC titles have you played for since CMR got to Georgia or Meyer got to Florida? I didn’t think so. For Lame Kiffin to criticize small towns, belittle recruits that don’t sign with UT or make disparaging remarks about family members of players who sign with other SEC schools… well, it makes us believe that Al Davis actually knew what he was doing when he fired this clown. I can’t wait for Sept. 19, so I can watch the Gators score triple-digits on the Volunsmears. And mark my words, UGA AND Florida will when SEC championships before Tennessee does!!! And most importantly, I would MUCH rather my head coach conduct himself with class (like Richt, Meyer, Brown at Texas, Carroll at USC, Paterno at Penn St., Tressell at Ohio St., etc.) than have a clown like Kiffin in charge of my team.

The UT spin is wide open here, after Kiffin accused the entire town of being corrupt he expects UT to be welcome back, thats pretty arrogant. As far keeping someone out of a school, yes the principle can deny access to students by anyone who isn’t a parent/guardian, school or law enforcement official during school hours. When you get right down to it, Thompson is nothing more than a passerby off the street stopping by, of course thats the same with any recruiter that comes by. But my guess is recruiters from all schools aren’t being denied, just the ones from the place that accused the school system and town of being corrupt and plotting to send Richardson’s LOI to the wrong school, that is pretty stupid, in my opinion.

My view is the following
I know Kiffin has denied comments about saying Alshon Jeffrey would be pumping gas if he signed with Soth Carolina and Jeffrey is no longer commenting. This has given TN fans an opening to possibly make us think there is reasonable doubt. The problem is there is an established pattern of behavior that emerged from all his comments that becomes very hard to ignore by even those who would try to be impartial. It becomes like OJ Simpson who explains how everybody was out to get him yet he was pretty much adored by everybody before his wife was killed. Sorry Lame Kitten yes us hicks pump our own gas, but we aren’t stupid. Also if you thought having no shirts on made you look stupid why did your coaches take their shirts off to prance around in front of your players. What is up with that.
