Collins Hill linebacker Zach Davis has an early offer from Tulane and is hoping for more.
The 6-foot, 195-pound Davis plans to watch Georgia Tech’s practice next week. He is also hearing from Mississippi State, Clemson, Okahoma, East Carolina, Central Florida, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Auburn, Alabama-Birmingham and Michigan State.
“The [recruiting process] is going well,” Davis said. “It’s definitely exciting. I’m going to try to go to Georgia Tech. They have a great football team and great academics. And my teammate [tailback Charles Perkins] has already committed there.”
Which school does Davis hope will offer next? “I don’t know. I don’t really have a dream school. I’d probably like to hear from one of those big SEC schools. It might be good to get some interest from one of those.”
Davis is being recruited at both the linebacker and safety positions. He has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at under 4.5 seconds.

Don’t hold your breath on the SEC giving you offers. Maybe Vandy or UK. This kid probably won’t even get an offer from tech. He should look into georgia state or georgia southern.

I don’t understand why he wants offers from SEC schools if he wants to attend gtu with his teammate. Best of luck to Zach, but by reading this story I have no clue as to what he is really looking for.

Frank,
What the heck is GTU,
Last I knew NO GTU exists, hears something educational for you:
Georgia Institute of Technology is what most people refer to as GA Tech, notice no University in the name.
Yes, the CH in my name stands for Collins Hill (alum ‘07 football Sr. class fall ‘06). I was a 3 yr Scout guy.
