This young man is a real class act. When Blake was a Sophomore at CASS HS team in Cartersville GA our son, who was an unknown Freshmen, was received and respected by Blake. He even invited him to his house with other upper classmen and that made our son feel really proud. He is a respectful, hard working athlete with an infectious smile! Blake if you read this, I want you to know we are soooo proud of you and excited for your future. The fact that you make strides in the classroom and on the field and still show respect for adults is refreshing. Stay humble and keep working hard and God only knows how far you’ll go. Lastly, know that EVERYONE has nay-sayers, the greatest to ever walk this planet still had his haters and they became his crucifiers, you young man, keep making your haters your motivaters. You are one of the original “CASS SONS” and the Red Elephants should be greatful to have you finish your prep days with them—we miss you but we are so happy for you….BLESSINGS FROM MR. AND MRS. Jim Milner, Sr………..You sound like a Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton wannabee. Alabama lead recruiting blacks into deep south football and Bear Bryant was a class act all his career. Maybe Blake should talk with Hershel Walker, Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and the likes. I’ve been a UGA fan since I became acquainted with football and I have never known any problems that you insinuate as rampant in the deep south. Any kid, regardless of color, will appreciate CMR for the gentleman and scholar that he is. Michigan didn’t show too much in the past few years but that probably will change. Blake appears to like UGA very much as noted in the article so maybe he’s able to do his own thinking without Jackson/Sharpton/Milner rabble-rousing racism.You are a disgrace for a man 64 years old and might want to consider relocating to Michigan.

To the young man, QB, “athlete” in Gainesville, GA — from a 64 yr old brother from back-in-the-day up to now — GET THE HELL OUT OF THE DEEP SOUTH. Most definitely DO NOT waste your time with UGA or UofAL. Start on the road to a new and better life — go to MICHIGAN. Remember, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots played QB for Michigan and you would have access to him as an advisor and mentor — promise. The deep south schools and the surrounding culture will run through your talent as if it’s their right to do so, use you like a rag, provide you with no academic respect and a second-class if any education with no degree, and spit you out at the end of 4 years with absolutely no prospects for a bright future outside of football — that is if you don’t make it to the pros. I know what I’m talking about. May God bless you, the talent He gave you, your future, and your family.

Richt was brought in because Goff and Donnan couldn’t beat UT, UF, AU and Tech. Since 1991 (the CMR era) UGA is 5-3 vs UT, 2-6 vs UF, 5-3 vs AU and 7-1 vs Tech. Against the Tide, Richt is 3-1 and 3-2 vs LSU. Against Saban coached teams CMR is 2-3. I wouldn’t exactly call that DOMINATION. Saban beat UGA twice in the same year (the NC year at LSU). BAMA beats AU for the first time since a second grader was born and Tech beats UGA for the first time in the same time span and their fans act like they DOMINATE. As I see it, UF is the only one that has any room to be running their mouth but they don’t need to. All they have done is win 2 out of the last 3 National Championships. Remember, actions speak louder than words so all you BAMA and Tech fans go ahead and gloat over ONE FRICKIN’ YEAR. I will give you both your due for 2008……..but that is just ONE year. BAMA you had a great game in Athens this year. It was YOUR night for sure, but my gosh, at least least when UGA had to play an inferior opponent in the Sugar Bowl they DOMINATED them. What is your excuse against the mighty Utes? Oh, I know, it was Andre Smith’s fault, right.

Since I started reading these posts, one thing jumps out at me: these anti-UGA fans are scared to death of the Dogs, and would love to see Mark Richt gone. Those who follow football know he has won more games than any other SEC coach over the last 8 years, and is averaging an SEC championship every 4 years, and they realize that if he keeps winning 10+ games annually that national championship will come. Look how long it took Bobby Bowden and Joe Pa to get a NC. Both of those gentlemen kept beating on the door, and finally kicked it in. Our rivals know Richt has a recruiting bonanza in this state, top notch facilities, and support second to none.

As to Reality’s comments, does he honestly believe Joe Dupree was a better quarterback than Eric Zeier? Quincy Carter did play a lot at Georgia, and I take no pleasure in watching the way his career has unraveled. DJ Shockley would be a good source for Blake to consult if he wants to know about UGA and Coach Bobo.
