Stephenson linebacker Tyrone Cornelius, who has five scholarship offers, said Auburn is recruiting him the hardest.
“[Auburn] coach [Gene] Chizik was out when I went down there,” Cornelius said. “They really want me to come back and meet him so I can have a sit down with him.
“Overall, Auburn was very nice. I really saw a lot that I haven’t seen before when I went to Auburn. I was very surprised that it was so nice because I thought it was in the country. But I came away with a whole different view of Auburn.”
Cornelius has offers from Georgia Tech, Auburn, Miami, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Cornelius had hoped to visit Vanderbilt on Saturday, but a track meet will force him to reschedule his trip to Nashville.
