The offers are slowly starting to roll in for Carver-Columbus junior quarterback Devin Burns. But he is not going to get caught up in the hype. ”I want to take all my visits and keep my options open,” he said.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Burns has offers from Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Southern Miss, Alabama-Birmingham and Troy. Burns said he could see himself in the option/spread offense similar to the type of system Tech runs.
“I like the zone reads,” he said. Burns said he thinks Louisville will be the next to offer.

Burns would get more zone reads at Vanderbilt or Troy than he would in Georgia Tech’s triple option.

1) Burns doesn’t have an offer from Tech, although I’m sure he is a fine young man.
2) If you want to quote the young man saying he has an offer from Tech, fine. But I don’t think it is wise for a writer to take what a minor says and print it as fact without confirming it with a second source, or say… an adult. This happens all the time on these blogs, and it makes zero sense to me.

I’m a Tech fan and this is a worthless story.
