Lane Kiffin is doing exactly what he planned to do. Put the Vols back on the recruiting map. Might not be the route other coaches would take, but it seems to be working.

Bama Stan, no doubt there will be a long line to kick this punk kids can but make no mistake, NO ONE is more motivated to put the beatdown on this clown than we are down here. And don’t confuse talk with swagger…Miami had swagger ’cause they showed over time that they could back in up on the field. This guy hasn’t done jack s*it other than run his freakin’ mouth about how he’s gonna be singin’ this year after he beats us, calling our Coach a cheat, acting like an *ss by “bragging” how he “stole” a recruit by setting up the kid to lie to virtually his whole town then turning around and making the kid look like a fool in front of the town just so he could boast about it. And then, he comes on PTI and says he respects Florida! Too late Kiffey boy, that train has already left the station and soon you will see the lights comin’ your way. Everything about this guy says totally classless and there are alot of VERY unhappy people down here that are looking forward to about 3 years worth of beatdowns until he is gone.

Bama Stain…Your ignorance about football in the SEC is really amazing. You act like you know everything. Your team is soft….and will continue to play soft next year. Utah exposed you for what you are and were “OVERRATED”. I watched your team play every game this year.You were lucky against LSU ( a team Ga handled on the raod with ease),and Ole Miss, and had to hang on for dear life against Tulane. What a soft schedule you played. Sure you beat Georgia but great teams would have put them away in the second half and they almost came back to make it a game. You guys have no heart and will continue to show that this season. You are going to be so disappointed you may have to lock yourself in your trailer for a month.Tell Jolio Jones that he can pump gas for Lane Kitten whens he flunks out of school…..Redneck losers!

JustCallMeChamp – stand in line brother – we can’t wait to welcome this spoiled brat into the SEC as well. I hope we just totally embarrass UT – but the reality is they do have a solid core of talent – and have assembled a very good staff – they will be decent this year – improved over 2008.

I think Kiffin is very calculating. His goal is to turn UT into the Miami of the late 80’s – and plenty of recruits are turned on to the SWAGGER that he pushing.

Really hope it backfires – and I think 2010 will be the year to see if he replaces UGA for #2 in the SEC East. Would not be surprised if they beat UGA in Knoxville this year – after all, they have beaten UGA 2 of last 3 years (both by blowouts) and as bad as TN was this year – UGA could not put them away till the end of the 4th quarter.

UGA has been mentally weak and has not been a physically tough team for 3 years. Richt has run his course – UGA will be good – but will not be fratenity member of the national elite.

To most of the world Bama made the SEC(21 SEC championships and 12 NCs. Granted it’s been a while but you referred to history. If you are looking for laughing stocks I would suggest you look at au and ut.

I have followed the UT football program for close to 30 years and this head coach and coaching staff
are different as any coaching staff I have ever seen at UT. Tennessee is lucky to have 2 great basketball coaches, but Lane Kiffin is a different care of person to judge. I still think he would make a
great used car salesman if football does work out!! You have Coach O and Lance (no pants) Thompson on the coaching staff and I am just waiting to see want happens next!! We will be talking
about these idiots for years to come!!

You know it’s funny that, when you read some of these articles you realize that if this guy hadn’t shot his mouth off about Urban Meyer before he knew what he was talking about or if he had not acted like such a jerk braggart when he took a couple of recruits or if he hadn’t pointed fingers at grandmothers when he lost a recruit, if he hadn’t convinced a recruit to lie for him and if he hadn’t bad-mouthed a whole town and made everybody there look dishonest and the recruit look like a fool, if he hadn’t badmouthed his entire recruitng class on the day he signed them, if he hadn’t falsely claimed how he was going to recruit parts of Tenn and let no one else in, if he hadn’t bragged so arrogantly about how he was hiring or attempting to hire away other assistant coaches, if he hadn’t said what he did about South Carolinas former players all being a bunch of gas jockeys and then tried to lie about that as well, if he didn’t committed all those early secondary recruiting violations while blowing smoke (or was it fog?) and suggesting others had, if he didn’t act like he doesn’t know the NCAA rules or more than likely doesnt care, if some of his recruiting tactics didnt seem so questionable or immature at best, and if I’m leaving something out please let me know…then this guy would seem like a credible good hard working guy trying to recruit and build his program and Al Davis would still seem the madman we have almost always known him to be. Problem here is you notice, there are an AWFUL lot of “IFS” here. As in, he would be pretty well respected if he wasn’t so disrepected, or she’d be pretty if she wasn’t so ugly or he would be a pretty nice guy if he wasn’t a serial killer…
