Garry Peters, a cornerback from Heritage High in Conyers, is up to 10 offers after getting invitations from Mississippi State and Ole Miss last week.
Peters hasn’t indicated any favorites, but he is planning to visit Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Auburn in the new few weeks, according to Heritage defensive coordinator Andy Szatkowski.
Szatkowski said many offers have been made based on video alone.
“Some of the schools have seen his highlight video we posted on YouTube.com and have made offers off that,” Szatkowsi said. ”It makes it easier on everyone instead of having to wait for the film in the mail. … Some schools have said they need some more film to make an offer, and some have said all it took was a few plays to know they wanted him.”
Peters is 6-foot, 175 pounds, with sub-4.5 speed in the 40. He also has offers from Clemson, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, Central Florida and East Carolina. Georgia and Georgia Tech have not offered.
