Yeah, I thought Carly Rose had this on lock, not sure anymore. Tate may win it all.
Just like on The Voice, bet many thought Terry would take it.

I would agree – she had three chances tonight & none were memorable.
I hate to be all about last year’s show – but this song was so much better when Josh sang it.

Right now thinking of Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow’s “Picture.” I would have enjoyed hearing that from Tate. Not really country, but I think he could have sung it nicely.

It’s a popularity contest right now, as all were good at singing their genre’s.
Carly’s duet with LeAnn went a little awry though, as it got rough in spots – but not Carly’s fault, Le Ann was swooping notes hard to harmonize with on a live basis.
We enjoyed all 3 acts. The 2 girls here tonight are busy voting for 5th Harmony. Peace and Goodwill.

Morning!
Didn’t watch XF last night. I got stuck watching the Miss Universe pageant.(No, not with hubby, he’s in Brazil) I know, I know, one is as bad as the other and I had Donald Trump instead of Simon Cowell. Went back and forth during commercials and saw Carly Rose singing Hallelujah. Also saw Tate once and 5th Harmony once each. They are all pretty good although I liked the 3 people on Voice, too. Have no idea who will win. Don’t care much either.

I still think that Tate’s going to win. Country music has a huge fan base. Plus… I think a lot of women love his personality, humility and out-right love of his family.

@Dum-Bass, thank you for the concern for my hearing but having had it checked recently I call tell you it’s perfect. Eyesight not so much. If Cassadee were to choose to record country music she COULD become a star. Carly Rose with the deal she will get COULD be a Super Star! Both however could fall flat on their face! But if I were going to take a chance and sign only one? It would be Carly hands down. Higher ceiling IMO! Dum, I am touched that you would be concerned for my hearing! I hope you have a good day!!!
@Rickster- I agree that Tate will win! I think the girls will also take votes from each other! I do wonder how much the pimp spot will help 5th Harmony! I think 5 acts will get record deals and possibly as many as 7. I hope Vino gets signed!

I don’t feel the need to defend what Rodney covers or doesn’t cover. The truth is that if someone wants to discuss or follow a show that Rodney doesn’t cover on a regular basis like The Voice there’s hundreds of blogs and forums that cover it on the net.

This is why I’m getting a little tired of these shows. Your last sentence could be applied to all 3 acts, but the show has played this up for Tate more than the others. This show is about half singing and half popularity…but I guess even AI year one was as well. I think Tate wins, but not because I think he’s the best singer. I agree with others that the girls will split votes, 5th H gets a slight boost for the pimp spot, and Tate is the beneficiary of the splits. Carly to me is by far the best singer with the most potential. In the end though, I won’t be buying any of their albums, so whatevs…I hope Demi and Britney are gone next year.
