HOLLYWOOD, CA - OCTOBER 23: Actress Kenya Moore arrives at the premiere of Paramount Pictures' "Flight" held at the ArcLight Cinemas on October 23, 2012 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty Images)
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” actress (yes, that’s what we shall call her now) Kenya Moore claims that Walter Jackson, the local tow-truck owner, was “deceitful” and “hateful” in his allegations on V-103’s Frank & Wanda morning show that she orchestrated their relationship just for the TV show.
She gave an exclusive statement to Wendy Williams, who read it on her show today:
Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life. He says he did it for fame. I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who has his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned. The truth will come to light. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear. I can do better than Walter and I will.
Williams complimented Moore for being a “polished performer” but “I don’t believe a word. I believe what Walter said. You wanted a boyfriend. Otherwise, Bravo wouldn’t let her on the show… I know it’s very embarrassing this was all exposed. I know that in a great but small city like Atlanta you can’t go anywhere. You can’t go to the bank or the grocery store. Everyone is laughing at you. Crazy!”
Here’s what Walter had to say on Monday morning about his so-called “relationship” with Moore.

I think she has deep, unresolved issues. She probably has low self-esteem and that could be directly related to her mother not acknowledging her (if we are to believe that is true). Doing this show, or any reality show for that matter, was not a wise decision on her part. Unfortunately, when you put yourself out there like that, you open yourself up to all the harsh and maybe even unfair criticism that comes your way.

Kenya is the poster child for what is wrong with beautiful, successful, independant black women in the U.S. The scenes with her throwing herself at married men on camera right infront of their wives suggest that she has very low self-esteem. I have been a fan for years and those scenes were painful to watch

To Peggy: What do you mean by your above comment? “Kenya is the poster child for what is wrong with beautiful, successful, independent black women.” ???? Please explain! Kenya represents Kenya and no one else. She has made that perfectly clear. Secondly, you should broaden your perspective of beautiful, successful, independent black women. Perhaps your circle of them are reflective of Kenya, but please note that is a very small percentage…..not the masses. You should know better than that. Don’t let “Reality TV” be your Reality. My time is limited to respond to you, but I wish I could take the time to point out a list of powerful, productive, beautiful, successful independent black women. As a matter of fact, Forbes Magazine just released an amazing list from Africa. Black Enterprise Magazine recently underscored some dynamic sisters doing awesome things in their respective industry – - without the drama that is aired on television networks pimping others who chose to do otherwise. Come on now! Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc., will help you research them out. Kenya is Kenya. Don’t get it twisted!!!

I don’t know what she meant by “I know that in a great but small city like Atlanta you can’t go anywhere. You can’t go to the bank or the grocery store. Everyone is laughing at you. Crazy!” I get the great but small (we aren’t LA or NYC), but by “you can’t go anywhere?” Is that because of our construction, or does it mean we don’t have suitable RHOA locales?

TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO MARRY U AND HAVE KIDS QUICK BEFORE U TURN 50, BECAUSE U NOT FAR FROM IT. Kat, what Wendy meant was not a slam at Atlanta. “You (Kenya)

Okkkkkaaaaay. Kenya paid Walter to be her husband. So what?
Dejavu? Remember Kim Kardashian who faked everything from a marraige (she’s being currently sued for), to scripted everything on the Kardashians.
And lets not forget the drama around her exes & agents exposing Kardashian’s plastic surgery she claimed to be “natural.” i.e. – “Xrays” which don’t show a fat injected bootey doesn’t prove authenticity.
. The Kardashians make Ms Kenya look like the realest thing in a reality show. We like drama, we like fantasy, this is what we get…She wasn’t able to cover her tracks long enough, like Ms Kardashian the fat-graft queen.

I only wish this show could have been used for a postive platform showing real housewives doing what they do in their everyday lives. Leave Kenya alone. The relationship wasnt fake. Ask Walter how long he knew Kenya and how long have they been dating and sleeping together. The show probably felt well, she is your girlfriend after all and it would be natural to think the relationship may end in marriage without the show and they decided to expedite it. He is making it seem like he just met Kenya like they were complete strangers before the show and she just decided to go on a trip and sleep in the same bed as a random dude from Atlanta….. ah no. He knows he was in a relationship with her before RHOA and it probably is true that the show offered him cash to do what should have come natural in a relationship except on the show. It will be fun to see Kenya go out on new dates now and I hope she catches a younger ATL baller that will appreciate all she has accomplished in her life, despite her childhood. She may end up with a Prince Charming like Kim. Kenya is still the prettiest ‘housewife”, I like her and besides she isnt afraid of Nene. Hold your head up Kenya, everyone makes mistakes.

Reality shows are now considered to be a staple of american entertainment. These shows are seemingly what the masses reflect as true entertainment by today’s standard. They have literally taken over the entire tv schedule. What is the attraction to such shows? Is becoming a peeping tom to the supposedly authentic life issues of celebritities or real people a commonality now? Do we like confrontational antics, foul language, or overt sexuality by these “actors”. These shows certainly would not be a success if the masses didn’t watch them religiously. There seems to be a theme in hollywood for African-American women to be only reality tv stars but nothing more substantive in terms of jobs or opportunities. So, i guess the sista’s are grabbing their 60 minutes of fame by getting paid. Hollywood has always been the easiest route to gain a fortune. So, people sell out for the money, lifestyle, and noteriety. Televison is scripted as well as many other forms of enterntainment. People are told what, who, how, when, and where by those producers/directors. These shows will continue to thrive due to popular demand.

First, I think kenya is a beautiful intelligent woman. She certainly isn’t the first woman who has “supposedly” chased a man or seemed desperate to marry, especially those who are older. I do not believe the relationship was fake. It remains to be seen, what type of relationship is actually was. I think Walter was wrong for making such a damaging statement. If it was a scheme, he is a part of it. Furthermore, there are some rumors floating around the internet about Walter, that does not exactly cast him in the brightest light either.
Secondly, it is obvious that Kenya may have some emotional issues that are a little more than that which is typical. It has to be hard to admit to the world that your mother has some mental health problems. Everyone of us, wants and needs to feel loved and wanted, but especially by our own parents. Of course she would have some problems. And if you care to admit it, we all are damaged in some way. The question is to what degree. But again, in spite of that, she seems to have managed her life and career. And whether she has a smidgeon of her mothers mental health issues,in my mind remain to be seen. I truly wish her well.

Kenya, has some serious issues. First, you shouldn’t beg any man to marry you or have a child with you ever. You are making your self look bad and that’s why men don’t respect women who put themselves out there like that and beg for a relationship. I think she has some issues that can only be resolve with therapy.

It’s sad and unfortunate but Kenya Moore has become a classless act. She’s always so combative, there are obviously some emotional and mental issues. Why flirt with someone’s husband, boyfriend or whomever? Her face and attitude match flawed.

Giving what’s on tv these days, what can you believe? The title along is wrong for the people who are being portrayed. From the beginning, it wasn’t about housewifes. I know some people live for fame and stardom, but at what cost? Is it all about getting a paycheck and the hell with morales? The way these FEMALES are acting, is this the kind of fame you really want? Phaedra exposing her azz on national tv and she is an attorney. Are you serious? What kind of image is that? I know Apollo don’t care given his background. Kandis has never been a housewife, so I’m not understand her role except she fits right in with mess/gossip. Kim is finally gone; however, she never should have been casted. She wasn’t a housewife in the beginning. She worked her legs open to finally become one. Porsha is clueless. What was Cordell thinking? Maybe he was hit too many times playing football helmet-to-helmet. I guess he maried for looks and the hell with the rest, because she has nothing else. Cynthia is just as clueless. While it’s true she had modeling, there’s nothing else happening upstairs. Now Kenya, what a joke. You constantly mentions your Mis USA title. Get over yourself…..those days are gone/over. How long ago was it again? Your looks have left you since then. Besides once being Miss USA, something else must be missing because you can’t seem to land a husband (which you seem so desperate for). Keep working on Apollo. He’s seems to be WILLING to participate in some behind the scene action with you. Phaedra can keep talking to the camera in the diary room; however, her husband is interested in playing. I’m sure this wouldn’t be his first time. I’m not sure why NeNe is such a star now. She’s just as messy as the others.
In closing, yes it’s all reality tv, but at what cost do you want to be portrayed? I guess the mighty dollar is what’s it’s really about. The hell with image, especially being a FEMALE.

I’m sure these reality shows may be possibly scripted, but it still does not change the fact that Kenya Moore is a jealous, low self-esteem, mean and crazy ugly outside and in women, I think she also has a complex about her completion. Kenya is almost 46 yrs old and her career has gone nowhere other than that title she won in the 90’s in which she act like someone giving her the title Miss America is a bad thing it’s actually a title that the well accomplished Vanessa Williams hold but you don’t hear her talking about it only when others mention it, that’s all Kenya has to offer and she is so jealous of Cynthia and Porsha because they have want she don’t have husbands, just like she said that she had been proposed to 6 times, that sounds like Cynthia’s story to be honest.
Cynthia and Porsha both are obviously prettier, classey, and have beautiful skin, naturally shaped and not butt implants, and Kenya that is not all of your hair we all know that you have infusion extensions which if you were to root her it would feel natural , you also need to press or relax you hair it always look course and dirty. I think to say Porsha is living off her Grandfathers legacy is not a bad thing she should not be condemned for her heritage , look at Janet Jackson if it were not for her brothers whom give all their siblings a platform and relevance the world would not known they either. Kenya it’s too bad you had a hard life so stop hating on others. I believe Walter she need some serious intense therapy. I’m so team Cynthia and Porsha

She was rude to everyone at the modeling auditions including Cynthia and she is acting like a cat in heat around some of the husbands. LOL are you kidding me.
The only reality TV you can count on being “REALITY” TV is the NEWS.
With the exception of American Idol, the Voice, Survivor and the American Race…all of us American viewers should boycott all of this reality TV trash.
This all started with MTV’s the “Real World” series.
The cost to produce these shows is very low compared to a scripted TV comedy or drama so some of the networks are moving toward this CHEAP “pun intended” form of entertainment.

Why do people go on these “REALAFAKE” shows and actually ACT as if the “truth” will not come out? I mean really? It was so apparent the entire time by his reactions and how cool he was towards her that she was putting on and he was truly not feeling it. As well her REALITY “acting” is atrocious. It’s OBVIOUS that she’s putting on for the camera. She needs an acting coach for her “REAL” life drama because right now she’s as bad as Erica Cane was all those years on the soaps. SMH. I love your comments… “REALAFAKE” = defined as a “Reality” TV show that really is not “REALITY. I love it…
If I was to creat a reality show; I would need the following ingredients:
1. Cast 6 to 12 men or women who don’t mind “acting” crazy, stupid, arrogant, ignorant, classless, funny, or boring for the cameras.
2. At least every other episode – all cast memebers will have to “take a trip” somewhere (of course all of the folks who don’t like each other must be there – no exceptions.
3. We need to have a least one intervention and two or three confrontations (you said this behind my back and I need to set you straight) a season.
4. We need some fights (verbal is good but physical is even better).
5. We need some romances
6. We need some haters and wannabees
7. We need form cliques (this group against that group)
BOTTOM LINE – WE DON’T CARE IF IT’S REAL….CONFLICT SELLS EVERYONE GETTING ALONG IS BORING AND – NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE WANTS TO WATCH THAT………….

This is no different than Basketball Wives LA. The only 2 ladies married on that show is Jackie and Malaysia. The rest are sluts who have popped out babies yet can’t get a man to marry them. As soon as those kids turn 18, those big fat child support checks will be over and those sluts will have to go right back to that same poor community that they came from.
Regarding Kenya, she has low self-esteem. I hate it for her because she is an attractive lady and does not have to do the stuff that she does; however, she may be doing it to get a spin off show. Hey, it worked for slutty Kim and Kroy. The so-called reality world is about who can bring the most drama because that is what will net the highest pay. NeNe is the highest paid of this show and Kim is 2nd…Okay!

Kandi is a trouble maker, she knew Cynthia and Kendra were’nt friends and she invited her to come anyway and told Cynthia she invited her. The Kendra had the nerve to invite herself on the trip, please, if I was Cynthia I wouldn’t have reserved a room for her or let her hang out with you all. Yeah Kim was all in the drama when she was dating a married man, Big Poppa! Now, she is married with 4 kids and suddenly wants to act like she is some clean, wholesome, suburban mom. Really? If Kroy ever opens his eyes wide enough, he may see her in a different light. I hope not for the sake of the kids. That baby boy is adorable.
On to Appollo, my sister saw him in a restaurant and he COULD NOT keep his eyes off of her!!! So, he might not mind hooking up with Kenya. Let’s be real, she does look better than Phaedra. My sister looks better than BOTH of them!!!!

That young lady should have done her homework!! When you work hard for something, no matter how long ago, it’s nice to have it acknowledged properly!! And whats wrong with her coarse hair? Kenya is a sad but accurate example of so many young black women – she lacks purpose, she lacks integrity and she is so insecure and fake one would think they are watching episodes of Dr. Phil. Kenya continually has to remind people who she is an what she was. She has no class and no style. She is a carbon copy of every magazine ad around. And all of this is too bad because she could have contributed a lot to the community and the world. Tragically she wasted it all away.

@ Keeping it Real if Ormarosa is a nice person that’s nice to know, but I would not portray myself in that manner for any amount of money or fame, there are other ways to contribute to society, and secondly did she lose her finances or did you mean her fiancé and if you are referring to Michael Duncan Clark, I’m sure a lot of people was sadden for her and his family. I still say people should never compromise their integrity for fame and fortune some of us value it more.
@ gloalgeane 16 actually I’m a business major with a PhD in finance, and I’m an advocate of spell check and I have a pocket size dictionary in my purse at all times. I love everything about me as well as my course hair that I press regularly. If you are going wear it straight make sure it’s that way or if you are going to wear in its natural state than wear it that way.
As far as my comment about Kenya having a complex with her complexion my sister is a psychologist she thought so as well per Kenya lets’ call a Spade a Spade well I’m calling her a Spade. If Kenya is acting that says a lot about who she is as a person, putting herself in a position for the entire world to say these things about her, I guess the saying What people do for Money is Ms. Kenya Moore and others who go on TV and act that way. I guess you have never said a bad thing or have done anything wrong to women you know? Would that be a true statement gloalgeane 16?
Happy Hoilday to everyone

You know Kendra, there are 3 words I have for you, and ITs not I love you. “Get a LIfe”
Walter is no more interested in you than any other man that you have ever dated. YOU could
be seen as a beautiful woman, but babe your attitude stinks to high heaven. YOU could tell that
Walter was not interested, every time she mentions marraige, he almost cringes. And think about this
KEndra, everytime you get an opportunity you are flirting or hitting on someone elses man. I just wish it had been Kandi that she did that “Friend Thing” with. It might not had gone quite so simply.
I have never even heard the word Love come from her mouth or Walters and every chance she got, she was begging him to wife her up. Kendra stop making yourself look like a complete idiot. A guy does not want just a pretty face and a banging body. Any man that’s worth his salt wants some substance behind looks- intelligence, class, kindness, supportiveness, and faithfulness. That’s what men look for in a wife. Also, it is the man’s place to chase the woman because by nature, men are the hunters and gathers. Ladies should NOT chase men because it isn’t the way nature intended. Now it is okay to flirt and give a man a sweet smile if you like him- but chasing him just looks TACKY! And you look like a colossal idiot! And hitting on someone else’s husband? Sheesh! How low can you go? I would have slapped the crazy out of you had it been MY husband. And lastly dear, I think you could use some serious therapy. Your lack of intelligence and class embarrassing the crap out of me. Watching you on TV is complete agony!

Oh, and there’s another thing I forgot to add that’s probably the most important: You have to fix what’s inside and learn to love yourself before you can love anyone else. THEN, you will be truly ready for marriage and motherhood.

I think Kenya has mental issue to even think a real good man would marry her. She has no respect for the other women on the show and most of of no respect for herself. She needs to go with her Miss America/USA ass. WHO CARES!!!!!

Everyone is dogging Kenya, but Kenya has made all of her money and found success on her own. She is beautiful and doesnot need Walter. She can really do better. Everyone makes mistakes but I know this is not the end of Kenya, this is just the beginning. Porsha Stewart needs to show respect, what has Porsha done for herself by herself? NOTHING but live off of her husband’s success and her dead grandfather dreams. Ne Ne needs to mind her own business and fix that fail marriage she is in. Cynthia get a backbone. Kandi, sex in the pool is just nasty your insides are now loaded with bacteria, mrsa, vre and every other diease. Do you need microscope? Your man’s weanie should just fall off, show yourself some respect and STOP IT that is what your room was for. Pheadra while you are getting uptight, be glad it was a woman coming onto your man. Make sure your man has not be with other men. He is much to pretty.

It was obvious to any normal woman that has been in a serious relationship that her behavior was not normal. Who does that? It reminds me of what you do in college while you are on Spring Break… and NOT in a relationship. I predict this will be her only season on the show.

Kenya has some screws loose…… she proves that without Walter’s help. She wants to be a wife and mother but she needs to get a larger dose of her crazy meds to calm her silly ass down. SHE made herself look desperate. SHE was the one asking about a ring, hoping for a ring, hoping for a wedding.. Walter just sat back, thinking “this bitch is crazy”. Good for you, Walter. LOL And she kept asking Porsha what title did she have? Uh, her title is called WIFE, what Keyna is desperately trying to be and won’t happen for her anytime soon. Damn nutjob. -____-

Kenya seems a little off balance but I believe she’s acting and she is drawing a lot of interest from the viewers. She certainly is shaking things up a little……..finally someone other than Nene. Let’s give her a chance.
