THE X FACTOR: 6 Perform: CeCe Frey performs live on THE X FACTOR airing Wednesday, Dec. 5 on FOX. CR: Ray Mickshaw / FOX.

CeCe Frey is out – finally.

The annoying, mediocre personality that is CeCe lasted so much longer than anybody expected. She survived withering critiques from Simon and L.A., flounced around the stage wishing she were Lady Gaga or Katy Perry when she wasn’t even a pale imitation of Jessica Simpson on a good day. And those spots she stuck on the side of her head looked like some sort of infestation, more than a mere affectation.

So alas, I miss you not.

As for Diamond White, she is the other 13-year-old wunderkund who wasn’t quite as mature beyond her years as Carly Rose Sonenclar. I always liked her. She seemed sweet and showed some real skills on stage. But she always skirted the bottom of the rankings and her time had come.

She faced off against Fifth Harmony, the steadily improving quintent of female singesr whose names I still do not know. Their take on Mariah Carey’s ‘Anytime You Need a Friend” was deemed better by the judges than Diamond’s “I Hope You Dance,” a maudlin song if I’ve ever known one.

Amazingly, I actually predicted the two acts going home tonight correctly.

So the top 4 are:

1) Tate Stevens (back at No. 1 from No. 2)

2) Carly Rose Sonenclar (losing the top spot after two weeks)

3) Emblem3 (third again)

4th or 5th) Fifth Harmony (fourth last week)

I think Cecey and Fifth Harmony will be out. But I hope it’s Tate and Cecey…

Good evening. Double elimination with my pick being CeeCee and Emblem 3.

Don’t think anyone is surprised over first act to leave. I hope she stops with the faux leopard tattoo. Also, hope she changes her hair color. Perhaps a dark brunette or a soft red copper (is that even a hair color)?

I was surprised, Pitchy! She deserved to leave, but I’m still amazed she’s gone.

I really believe there is a lot of bogus accounting in that 5 million $ recording and promo package for Melanie. There are a lot of ways you can spend the money on internal turn-arounds that just flip the dollars over to a different department of the operation.

No surprise that CeCe is first-out. One of the people over here tonight, owes me a dinner out, from that.

Obviously Brit is going to pick Diamond and Simon is going to pick 5th Harmony. Would be nice to see it go to a deadlock, and see which one got the lowest votes. I’m hoping 5th Harmony stays.

I’m surprised Emblem3 is safe. I really like Diamond, but I feel she’s next to be voted off. Unfortunate because she was robbed from very beginning with the live performances. 5th Harmony should leave. Diamond has range with her voice if they would only showcase it. Britt needs to be shot with her song choices for her.

I always laugh at Kesha, because she tries so hard with her comeback. Almost washed up and not a great voice. I already want to hit mute with her performance.

So CeCe is out first first. They are trying to keep the younger kids on so it should be interesting for the second act out.

yes, a little wild – but Idol and X-Factor both pour-on the suggestive guest acts. Some of the Nickie Minaj videos are XX, on the verge of triple.

Could be an interesting race next week, as 2nd place Carly Rose should benefit some from Diamond’s exit. Britney will send a message to all her fans to vote like crazy for her girl.

CeCe fans, who continue to vote at all, are more likely to switch to 5th Harmony.

The Tate Nation and Country fans are a force to reckon with, as already proven tonight, back to first place.

It’s a majority of girls/ladies that vote overall – and the teen & tween girls, and some of the teen/tween – pop-rock guys who do vote, are very motivated to get Emblem 3 into the top level. They just don’t relate to the ballads and Country songs.

None of these X Factor contestants would make the top 20 on American Idol. This is just a typical European talent show, thanks to Simon.

“The annoying, mediocre personality that is CeCe lasted so much longer than anybody expected”

Obviously written by someone who doesn’t recognize the show pushes, annoying, tone deaf, untalented boys like monkey3 because they know the same result is at hand, year after year, which is stupid little girls discovering puberty, always voting for anything male, or with a cowboy hat and guitar. I knew when LA (cowardly liar), said she should have gone home long ago, he was giving fuel to the dummies. Cece wasn’t the best singer, BUT was better than more than 1/2 of them, especially elbmem3.

If anything is amazing, it’s that emblem3 who CAN NOT SING, is making it this far. Tate Stevens (Cowboy), is BORING! He’s ok, but has nothing relaven or current to offer. It’s like he stepped out of a time machine from the 50’s and is lost. He’s winning because of two things. One the mothers of the tweenie boppers who vote for monkey3, and two because he is from TEXAS. Yes, that is right. Those idiots are voting for his hat and because he too is from near that area. If I’m wrong, why does he wear his stupid hat every show? Why does he show up with a guitar? To fulfill the typical WGWG trend that is has ruined most shows on Idol. Mark my words. Melonie may have barely won, but you are not going to have a female winner again on this show. If it has a schlong and guitar, it will win.

And “amazingly” you predicted the ones going home? Sorry to break it to you kid, but there was nothing amazing about it. They have shown the relative order for weeks, and Carly, Tate, Monkey3 and 5th have pretty much had the lead. With Cece being beat on, and diamond giving one schreecy, out of tune performance after another (with the exception of last night), they were doomed. Do you want amazing? Ok, I predict the winner will be Cowboy with guitar, with a tiny chance of it being Carly, but I doubt it. 5th Harmony will just go home next week, the following week emblem will have another fireworks show so the crotch happy girls can vote them into the stratosphere. That will make Cowboy and Monkey 3 #1 and #2. Then Carly will go home. THAT is the most likely outcome. If not that, then we get Cowboy and Carly. Not really so hard to figure out idiot.

I’ll add the obvious…. Carley who is fantastic SHOULD win for best voice, being most relevant and current, but has less than a 50% chancethanks to clumsy cowboy who’s just ok.

Carly is the best singer but who is voting for this Tate, he is so pitchy, Carly is the only one who is polished and that is what it takes to be a superstar. Tate sounds so mechanical when he tries to do runs, you can see that it doesn’t come natural for him. Carly is great at picking songs and she won’t settle for #2 spot and will be back #1 next week and thereafter. Diamond is gone so all those voters are being translated to Carly.

It’s going to between Carly and Tate, They are the best ones of this show. Some people probably think Tate is boring because he’s country, but he’s a good country singer.

Thanks to Simon, Diamond remained in last week,,,,He ensured that both his mentees …..f…emblem 3 and 5th. Harmony… were not eleminated or at least not in the last three, on the 6th. December performance…..To ask an inexperienced guy to prepare a new son, the day before a performance by his mentor, who should know better,…….. is begging for elemination despite coming third in consecutive weeks…..seems like a plan by the the top two and I don’t mean contestants to get rid of him.

While I wish Vino was still in the competition I can’t complain about the top 4. The two groups will take votes away from each other and the final two will be Tate and Carly. My personal belief is that Carly will become the X-Factor’s version of Kelly. Simon’s first BIG American star. Tate could also be big in country music. Both groups could also be successful.

In a few years we will know which show The Voice or X-Factor produced the most stars! To debate who would or would not make it on the other show comes from a biased point of view. Although I think XF would win hands down.

Good Morning!
Tried to warn friend that “Playing for Keeps” is predictable, pointless and utterly boring.
She didn’t care.
“It has Gerard Butler, and that’s all I need to know. He plays a soccer coach, so I assume he removes his shirt?”
I couldn’t remember. Probably, since Gerard’s character has a couple of affairs in the movie.
“OK then, I’m going.”

Good riddance CeCe. The only person more overated and with a greater, more overly inflated sense of their talent was that annoying vocal coach from Atlanta.

Some cosmetics company ought to sign Diamond White to a contract. The girl has a beautiful and flawless face.

That is one of the most hideous “looks” I have ever seen. I can understand if she came up with that on her own, but if a stylist came up with that visual cacophony then they should be fired. I’ve seen Legos that went through a dogs digestive tract that looked better than that mess.

Overall, it was a good night for all the contestants…….even CeCe. I think that Diamond and CeCe leave tonight. Tate should regain his #1 spot. Although I wasn’t overly impressed with Carly Rose, I think she was solid. She’s a bit “idolesque” for my taste.

I am glad CeCe (wannabe Pop-tart) is finally gone and I can’t say I’m surprised that Diamond went home, too. She’s been close to the bottom a few times since they brought her back. (Which was another X-Factor manufactured melodrama!)

I’d like to see Tate Stevens win just to see all the WGWG conspiracy fanatics go rabid but Carly Rose will most likely win. (BTW, the version of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ that Tate did on Wednesday night was the acoustic version that Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora did for the 9/11 benefit concert way back when. And that version is low-key without the high notes, Demi.)

I’m still not willing to say any of these contestants (or those on The Voice, for that matter) are going to be major stars. The track record (kind of a pun there, huh?) just isn’t there. (Although Simon is right, there are no girl groups at the moment.)

I laughed when Melanie was introduced with her new “hit single”. …Really??? I thought a song had to have a lot of radio airplay and an appearance on the Billboard chart to be dubbed a hit single. That was either prognostication or prevarication. …And I suspect the latter!

I couldn’t have said a farewell to CeCe Frey more eloquently than you had Rodney. Perhaps we’ll see her again but I sincerely hope not. Some people claim she had a lot of fans but I think the website “votefortheworst.com” ended up being responsible for her success. Now things are really interesting since there are at three talented singers/group still in the competition (yes, I’m excluding YOU Emblem3). I’m still rooting for Carly to win but my DISH coworker is rooting for Tate. I like to talk about The X Factor results on the way to work when I pick him up, so I catch the show while I’m getting ready for work so I know what happened. It is so convenient to watch in my bedroom, pause the show and pick up in the kitchen, then do the same in every other room of the house because I have a DISH Hopper Multi-Room HD DVR. That allows me to have the freedom to make my TV watching fit my lifestyle and I get to watch TV more often.

Diamond leaves and makes some typically classy departure comments. Like, Thank you very much for this opportunity. I’m going to work hard. Cher LLoyd came in 5th and look where she is. I appreciate everything everyone has done.

And CeCe leaves and makes some typically arrogant conceited comments. Like, love yourself and you don’t need anybody else and I’m so wonderful and my whole problem is that the judges didn’t “get me.”

Oh, they “got” your no-talent self okay.

Goodbye.

Won’t miss you. There are millions of other girls out there better than you. And with a much better attitude, too.

Mercedes, go to the end of your last post here. One line is good to practice on.
1) Have the cursor at the end of the sentence then hold down the left click and drag it back across the sentence. It will be highlighted! Drag it all the way back to get your name, date etc. *remember to keep holding down the left click until everything you wantt to transfer is highlighted then let off the left click button*
2) Once what you want to transfer is highlighted move the cursor over the highlighted area and right click on the mouse and hit copy.
3) Move to where you want to put/paste the text and right click again and hit paste.
