Three shows that couldn’t be any more different are ending their runs this week.

FX’s edgy, dramatic, frequently violent “Sons of Anarchy” is finishing a strong fifth season Wednesday while Emmy-winning veteran reality competition show “The Amazing Race’ concludes its 21st trip around the world Sunday on CBS.

And in what is likely to be the final original telecast of anything Tyler Perry on TBS, comedy “For Better or Worse” concludes its second season Friday.  The ratings for the Nov .27 episode, the most recent I had available, was 1.08 million viewers, half the viewership a year ago.  So it’s not a stretch to say this a series finale.
