Kenya Moore, who was Miss USA (not Miss America, people!) ups the irritation quotient week two:

Let me count thy ways:

1) She gets all catty with Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss at the Bottle Bar in Buckhead, recounting her time doing the “Jet Of the Week” judging contest with Cynthia Bailey last week with disdain, including the moment she had Cynthia’s assistant “thrown out” by security. (Phaedra said Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson needed security. But Kenya? Really?) Kenya said she felt like the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz and Cynthia was the scarecrow with no brain repeating what she had just said. Cynthia thinks she’s full of herself and disrespectful.

2) Kenya gets pointlessly jealous when her boyfriend Walter (who owns a towing company) said he once asked Kandi on a date but she rejected him. Kenya got real upset at one point, but the multiple tequilas seemed to calm her down.

3) While Cynthia holds an “appreciation” party for NeNe Leakes and her success in Hollywood at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Buckhead, Kenya openly mocks her by saying, “I love you Kandi. I love you Phaedra!” while Cynthia is talking. Then Kenya has the temerity to take the mic and starts her own speech, first by saying, “Enough of the clown show,” followed by this unctuously insincere “It’s really sweet Cynthia would throw a party for her BFF. It inspires us to be kind and sweet to each other.”

4) Then she pulls NeNe to the side right in front of Cynthia and tries to befriend her by saying that Cynthia’s negative impression of Kenya shouldn’t impact NeNe’s efforts to like her. She also mocks Cynthia as a mere “talking head.” Cynthia has no real comeback, just says she’s NOT a “talking head.” Later, to the RHOA cameras, she comes up with some wittier comments, such as: “She’s a very attractive woman. But if you’re ugly on the inside, you’re ugly on the outside.”

Updates on the other women:

- Kandi is moving into her new fancy mansion home with her boyfriend Todd, a pad that impresses Phaedra more so than the dismissive Kim last week.

- The producers attempt to revisit the tiresome Kim Zolciak-NeNe dynamic yet again. Kim shows up to Cynthia’s party for NeNe but leaves just as NeNe arrives. NeNe tries to be conciliatory again but Kim is her usual jerk-ish self. NeNe wants Kim to stay five minutes to hear NeNe’s speech but Kim says she’s running 40 minutes late to get home yada yada yada. Then Kim lies and says she’s going to the bathroom and will be back to hear NeNe.  She leaves. Classy, that Kim, as always.

- NeNe gets emotional at a Pride event in Los Angeles to promote “The New Normal.” She’s taken aback how much love she gets from the gays. She even brings her teen son Brentt along. Gregg, her ex husband, pops in at the last second. It seems like they’ve reconciled.

- Phaedra works out with NeNe and Cynthia at one point at Buckhead’s Body Sculptor, owned by ‘The Biggest Loser” trainer Dolvett Quince, but Dolvett isn’t the trainer. Phaedra also noted earlier in the episode she wants another baby.

- Based on the trailers, Porsha Williams Stewart finally shows up in the third episode and quickly comes to blows with Kenya. Of course.

QUOTES

“I’m not used to living in a crammed space. We need every square foot of a 17,000 square foot space.” - Kim Zolciak, acknowledging a problem 99.9% of the population does not have.

“Were you before or after Vanessa Williams?” - Cynthia, trying to ding 41-year-old Kenya Moore, who is much younger than Williams.

“If Miss USA could take her gown, her sash and her crown and just wave her way right out the door, I’d be very happy.” - Cynthia.

RATINGS

Although there were signs people were getting tired of the show last season, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” came back strong last week. The fifth season opener debuted at a solid 3.2 million viewers. That’s actually the highest opening ever for the show.  This is up from the 2.9 million viewers that opened last season. The show averaged 2.8 million viewers last season and a peak 2.9 million viewers season three.

Kenya Moore is so in love with herself. She is the pits and we do not like her; nor is she as attractive as SHE wants you to think she is. Her makeup is CAKED on and her attitude truly makes her GROSS. I did not think these women could be topped, but she is by far the worst.

I agree with the other commenters that Kandi is setting a bad example for Riley by shacking with all of these men over the years. I sincerely hope that Riley rises above (no pun intended)this upbringing and doesn’t become a wild teenager with daddy issues. She already has a deadbeat father in Russell Spencer of Block Entertainment and the daddy issues with him have already been documented on the show.

If only Kandi had as much relationship sense as she does business sense!!! Her mother and aunt really need to sit her down and let her know that she needs to be a better role model for her child.

There is nothing lady like about that Kenya, after two episodes I’ve seen enough of that ghetto hot mess not to take another gander. Kenya may as well get accustomed to growing old by herself, no good decent intelligent man is going to wife that psycho up. I can see some man’s Mom holding that psycho off with a shotgun cause a pistol ain’t gonna work. I am sorry that that Kenya is the person she is and it ain’t pretty.

Every housewife show needs a mean girl, and Kenya has filled the role this season on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ it is too bad because if she didn’t open her mouth she is actually a beautiful woman who could do a lot of good with her semi-successful career. I started watching the first part of this episode but I had to go into DISH to finish some work. I wasn’t sure I would make it back home in time for the reruns so I set my DISH Hopper to record this episode, and since I have so much DVR recording room I’m recording the rest of the season, this way I won’t miss any of the drama. I think Nene has definitely grown as a person, especially when compared to last season and I hope her and Greg stay together.

Kandi is successful, but the boasting needs to stop. Kim is definitely a hater, that is why she left the party early, she hates to see a room full of successful women doing their thing. I like Kendra. She needs to tone it down, but she is looking for recognition and fame and as we have seen (through Nene’s success, the nastier you are to people the more famous and rich you become on these shows). I like Cynthia and I love the way she handles her business regarding her husband, Leon and her daughter. Phedra is all about business, making her money and having the best! I don’t know what her obsession is with booties though!

Ok. Cynthia threw a party for Nene. Nene shows up 2 hours late. She looked absolutely fabulous, and I loved that dress. But REALLY??? 2 hours late? DISRESPECTFUL and CLASSLESS. Kim did right when she left. The speech that Nene gave was luke warm and self serving, not at all graceful. If she said ‘thank you’ to her friend for hosting the party, I must have missed it because I blinked. Nene does not think much of Miss Cynthia. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
Cynthia needs to have a shot of gingko, guarana and african cayenne to get those brain cells popping. She is too slow on the come back lines, like she has to “think” before she can pop out some one liners. She is a classy lady, but when you’re rolling with such a classless swarm, you need to be able to pop dem classy one liners el rapido, lady. She would have scored MAJOR points had she shown the exit door to Kenya Mooreby DICK. (BTW, why does Kenya have such a screeching voice? Sounds like a racoon with a sharpened wire stuck in it’s guts. Grates on my nerves!).
Kandi… makes me laugh, in a good way, even though she speaks as if she has locked jaw. Are the teeth too big for the mouth? But anyway, she gets points for being frugal and paying for her house CASH. That’s how things should be done. HOWEVER, she needs to understand that everything that you do is a lesson to your kids and she has a young, impressionable daughter. By all means, date. But your man must NOT sleep in the house where your child lives. If you have plans to live together, then you must respect yourself and he must have RESPECT for you AND your child. Crystal clear intentions include a ring. Do not settle. He must lock you down with that marriage certificate BEFORE he can move in. Setting a great example for your child is the goal here, not getting your pum pum chiseled. Jeez. THE END.

Poor Poor over the Hill Kenya and Kim really needs to clean up her mouth!!! Glad this show is NOT named Ladies of Atlanta, because as far as I can tell Cynthia would be the only one to qualify

I do not like kenya, she jealous of any one who has what she wants so badly, a husband and kids.
she is also jealous of the other new lady, (her body, youth). bring marlo back, i miss her wit, she did
not hate on anyone. As for kim, glad everyone is seeing what I’ve seen about her all along, nothing
but a user.
