TV best bets with return of ‘Top Chef,’ Brian Austin Green, an election and goodbye to ‘No Reservations’

wedding-bandOn Tuesday, the major networks will be covering a vote a wee bit more important than “The X Factor” or “The Voice:” the presidential one. Hopefully, CNN will forgo the hologram effects this time.

Speaking of CNN, Anthony Bourdain moves to that network after celebrating his final “No Reservations” tonight on Travel at 9 p.m. in Brooklyn.

Brian Austin Green (”Beverly Hills 90210″) shows off his singing skills on TBS’s new hour-long comedy “Wedding Band,” which debuts this week. I personally liked the first episode, but TBS is showing its lack of confidence in the program by dumping it on Saturday.

Thanks for posting on tonight’s shows, Rodney, and thanks for reminding me about the last episode of No Reservations. I’m sitting in my office at DISH, and I just realized that I forgot to set a recording timer. Thankfully, I have the Hopper DVR from DISH, and I can go online to set new timers. I would set timers for Bones and Revolution too, but I already have that covered thanks to the Hoppers Primetime Anytime feature; I have it set to record everything shown during primetime on NBC, FOX, ABC and CBS. The rest of the week looks pretty good too; I can’t wait to start watching!
