My colleague Jennifer Brett has posted the news that top-rated Channel 2 Action News has added a new 4 p.m. anchor Erin Coleman, who will take over for Jovita Moore during that hour in a couple of weeks.
Coleman has been a reporter and weekend morning anchor for the station. She joined WSB-TV in 2009. She will be teamed with John Bachman. Moore will continue to anchor the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. news with Justin Farmer.

I like her, she’s good.
I have never even heard her mess up while reporting the news.

Great, I have enjoyed her since she first started! Classy, and professional!!! Thanks WSB, that kinda makes up for adding the Big Blow Hard Limbaugh to your otherwise fine network…..

I would have to agree about Erin Coleman being a classy, and professional journalist. I could see the 4PM assignment with her and John Bachman becoming permanent.
Other changes I could picture…
- Fred Blankenship and Carol Sbarge moving to 5PM news.
- Sophia Choi anchoring the weekend Morning & Noon news.
- Jovita and Justin staying on 6PM & 11PM news.
- Linda Stouffer co-anchoring weekend 6PM & 11PM news with Craig Lucie.
- I could picture former 46 anchor Helen Neill and reporter Dave Huddleston co-anchoring weekday Morning & Noon news… and I believe Helen was/is a classy, and professional journalist.
It’s a thought.

You Know I’m not from Atlanta, but I saw Erin and saw how others connected with her. She even connected thru the television.I thought she would have been a great follow up to Monica.but then I saw billboards with the other female anchor.. But what do I know.

No way Fred Blankenship is getting moved to the 5 pm news. They don’t have time to place and remove the spit guards from the camera lens’.

Erin is really a class act and deserves this promotion. She is the best dressed reporter on TV. A real professional!

I like Erin Coleman. Every time I see her, I see a sweet, wholesome young lady that worked hard and whose parents are very proud of her. Yes, that’s what I see every time!

What drew me to Erin was her weekend morning anchor. It was the perfect telecast for her with that soft professional voice. I see a very bright future for Mrs Coleman. Class act on the tube.

I’m so happy that she made this position. I have been dear friends with her cousin Raven for over ten years. Again, she is the person for the job.

I like Erin Coleman but as usual an Atlanta television is acting in reverse racism. Atlanta can have two African Americans anchoring a newscast but not two Whites. Both Linda Stouffer and Sophia Choi have national experiance but they couldn’t be paired with Bachman because they’re not African American. Anyway, Congrats Erin.
