Simon Cowell is understandably peeved by what happened Wednesday night when the Giants/Cardinals NCLS game was delayed by rain. At first, Fox was told the rain would go on well past primetime. So it began airing “X Factor.” But the rain subsided and word was that the game was going to return.
So “The X Factor” got rudely cut off mid show – but the game didn’t come back as quickly as expected. So for a period of time, Fox even aired a repeat of “The Mindy Project.” On the West Coast, they were supposed to air a repeat but ran the new episode for a period of time, before pulling it for the repeat.
“It what’s known as a total f up,” Cowell Tweeted.
Here’s what Fox just sent in terms of Tuesday’s programming:
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the New FOX Tuesday comedies keep the laughs coming with all-new episodes of RAISING HOPE (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), BEN AND KATE (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) and NEW GIRL (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT). An all-new special one-hour episode of THE X FACTOR featuring the conclusion of the “Judges’ Homes” round airs during a special, extended prime from 9:30-10:30 PM ET/PT.
What a mess, especially since this was the top 17 reveal. Tara Simon, the local vocal coach, did not make the cut.
Despite skeptics such as Jennifer Hudson and Steven Tyler, Nigel Lythgoe insists the Nicki-Mariah feud is no ratings ploy.
Jennifer Hudson was a guest judge on last night’s “Project Runway.” I won’t say who won in case you haven’t seen it.
Despite proclaiming her admiration earlier this year for Ron Paul and being a Republican at heart, Kelly Clarkson plans to vote for Pres. Barack Obama, partially because he supports gay marriage, she told the U.K. Daily Star.
Since Fox is airing the World Series, it’s doing its usual cross-promotion by having winner Phillip Phillips sing the National Anthem for game one. I’m not sure if this is exactly the song for him. We can only hope he keeps it simple and doesn’t sound too strained on the high notes.
