I caught up with Rashan Ali Thursday at an event talking about relationships sponsored by Luhv2Live at the new lounge Organix in Midtown. She was a morning host for many years at Hot 107.9, then briefly at V-103. She now works at NBA TV.
She tried out for 92.9/The Game but didn’t get the call.
I came before the event started and also wanted to talk to Rasheeda, who is rumored to be out of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.” The organizer said she was supposed to be there at 7:30 p.m. but I had to leave at 8 p.m. She ultimately arrived at 8:30 p.m. She was considered the dullest of the crew from season one, which means she was too “normal,” so to speak.
Here’s my interview with Rashan:

Aww I hate that Rashan didn’t make it to The Game lineup but I’m sure she will be successful in many other endeavors. Her Sporty Girls organization is awesome, and does a lot for girls fitness and self esteem.

Maybe she will be available for the Ryan and Rashaun in the Morning Show (after they replace Ski and Wanda of course, sooner than later)

I feel that deannab; “Ryan and Rashaun”. That would definitely work as the new V-103 Morning Show Team.

Rashaan didnt quit to pursue acting. V103 didnt renew her contract. They did the same thing to Elle. V just doesn’t get it. These are two beautiful intelligent women. OH thats right – they want Wanda! ugh
