There was a marriage proposal tonight on part two of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the reunion show.

But it wasn’t Mimi and Stevie J – or Joseline and Stevie J.

Stevie J is not the marrying type, as we’ve learned.

Instead, marble-mouthed Lil Scrappy surprised sassy Erica with a marriage proposal while his “other” lady Shay stormed off stage, not to return.

“I’m happy,” he said coherently. (You feel me?)

Even Mama Dee (sorta) buried the hatchet with her nemesis Erica by saying, at least to Mama’s Boy Scrappy “Whatever is good for the prince is good for the queen.”

And host and executive producer Mona Scott-Young confirmed what we already knew was coming: a second season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” sometime in 2013.

Other semi-revelations:

- Joseline and Stevie J are not a couple. Whatever that means.

- Benzino, after he decided not to propose to Karlie, brought another woman home and Karlie saw the naked woman with her own eyes. So where’s that relationship? “Finito,” Benzino said.

- Rasheeda kept her marriage to her producer husband for years to keep her image as the hip rapper up.

- K. Michelle was the odd woman out. But she does have a criteria if you want to date her: you must have a Wikipedia page. Sorry, most people!

Stevie J – who was so successful as a producer when the show was taping that he didn’t have a car until the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” checks started coming in – isn’t letting all this reality show success get to his head:

“I am God-like,” on why he chose to wear that “I am God” T-shirt to the second love triangle therapy.

“They’re hating on God so what am I to say?” to the haters.

“She can’t do it herself.” – Stevie J, on Joseline’s music career.

Funniest moment: a collage of Stevie J’s rat face look.

“He’s an idiot. He’s a fool.” – Joseline concludes.

Erica, Scrappy Doo not gonna marry your long chin arse. Shay is the finest woman on the show, she got a body like a stripper. and why havent i heard of all these “hot” artists? Other than Scrappy Doo’s minor hit what have the rest of them ever done? by the way just checked them out on youtube and seen their videos. like i said why do they call themselves hot?

Scrappy only proposed to retain ‘baby-mama’ fans and eliminate the possibility of all of his newly earned income from the show being caught up in child support court. He loves Erica; but he is not inlove with her nor does he want marry her. She does not want to marry him; she wanted to ‘win’ him from any other woman that might actually want him so she can say she has a ‘hold’ on him and he didn’t ‘leave her’ and her baby so it will her feel special. LOL
What real woman wants a scrappy? What real woman wants a grown man with five kids and no car? These beautiful women are playing themselves short just to remain connected to the ‘industry’ and it is obvious and stupid. Shay needs to stop jumping from reality show to reality show and get a reality check (not the one she can cash) and develop some other talents that using her big bootie. It apparently is not that great of an asset if can’t land a mama-boy scrappy. Karlie got what she deserved; 15 minutes of fame and no man. Karlie had no business qustioning who he had at his house once he dismissed her and after she slept with a local younger artist. Stevie will continue to play those two women back and forth just like he did during the reunion by switching seats on the sofa depending on his mood. K-Michelle nice voice, but use it to do something other than be the spokes person for domestic violence. Its not considered domestic violence because you lost the fight. Women better learn to stop hitting these men and then claiming domestic violence because the man won and moved on to greener pastures. You are giving the national cause a harder task to address when you play these type of games. “Don’t shake unless you want to get shook!”

All of the women on the show are beautiful & as women we
we need to build each other up instead of tearing each other
down with all the fighting going on.Mona im so dissapointed
on how you treated shay that could have been handled alot better.

Changingchannel, I agree with you. What woman wants men like these? C’mon ladies – It’s sad. I’m tired of these chicks using their children as an excuse to stick with these good-for-nothing men. What good is it doing the children to see their mothers dealing with the mess these women deal with? Their just teaching their daughters to go out and get the same type of man for themselves…it was okay for my momma, so it’s okay for me…Anyhow – I’ll believe Erica and Scrappy’s non-sense when they actually get married…to his momma’s dismay. She knows she wasn’t happy with that.

Shay– she looked like the left over tropicana juice that no one wanted…her hair was ugly…I guess she was tired of being lion king

K.Man– so sick of her no singing tail

Rasheeda and her husband or tired…she should do a rap for Ben Gay and icy hot

Scrappy–that ring was small….did he use that child support money to buy the ring

Mona need a stylist her wig was nasty and that outfit was not right

mammy dee is just stupid

karlie is an old freak from wayyyy back her heels did not look good with that dress

erica i like the goth look on her

I tuned in each week simply to see the antics of Stevie J. That boy is straight up tripping. He must be driving his hammer hard to have these women go bat shyt crazy over him. And he does look like a rat when he brings his lips together.

The show is a trainwreck, but still entertaining. I never heard of Benzino. Seem his career has been faltering. If so, he played a good card in that he now has people talking about him and how he played Karlie.

Wow! This show is a close-up view of why psychiatrists stay in business. Mimi, Joseline and Stevie are a perfect storm created by the failures of their parents. You have narcissism, sociopathy and depression whirling around three lives that are out of control. Only Mimi appeared to try and reel herself toward a normal life. She needs to keep seeing Dr. Jeff or somebody. She might have a chance to live a good life. It will NOT be with Stevie, though, because he is too proud to admit that he has issues. There is a common denomator here: If your primary relationships are not what they should be, you will look for that missing love in others. Even to the point of destroying that person for fear of being hurt. Scrappy said it best. That he runs when he feels the pressure of a relationship. He said he’s afraid of being hurt. But in the same breath, he can’t understand why Erica would hold be reluctant to show him affection! It’s incredible! And Mama Dee should know better. Erica is entitled to be afraid of being hurt just like Scrappy. Again, these people need to get on somebody’s couch and get in touch with who they are, or their kids don’t have a chance!

And don’t let me get started on Mama Dee. She crosses too many boundaries for a mother. Again, there is a couch waiting somewhere for her, too!

I have watched “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” from the beginning, and I’m disappointed in the behavior of the women on this show. My co-worker at Dish agrees, but somehow we were both sucked into the drama each week. I have not had a chance to catch part two of the reunion, but have it recorded on my Hopper. It’s nice to have 2,000 hours of recording space available, and when the new season of “Love and Hip Hop: New York” begins this show will be added to my DVR list
