It’s a welcome back to Atlanta for Jeff Miles, who returns to Q100 as the mid-day host, taking over for Brittany, who was let go last week.
He was the night-time host on Q100 from 2004 to 2005, after Suzy Tavarez but before Geller.
Miles will be back Monday, July 9 at 10 a.m. after the Bert Show, according to Program Director Rob Roberts in a text message.
This does not appear to be a budgetary move. Miles came from WPLJ-FM in New York, where he was a mid-day host for four years. WPLJ has elements of B98.5 and Star 94, musically. He had recently left his job there but managed to keep a gig within the Cumulus family of radio stations. Here’s what he wrote on his public Facebook page at the time of his departure:
One HOUR Left. One Hour to go on the airwaves in 95.5 WPLJ New York City! WOW! What an amazing ride it’s been! Thanks to all who have been loyal listeners for the past 4 years! This has truly been an amazing experience to work in the greatest city in the world!
In life we are all faced with decisions. Paper or plastic? French Fries or Baked potato. Well, about 3 months ago we learned of a family situation that put me in a difficult decision…..Family or Career? It is one hopefully not everyone has to face because it is a tough one! Luckily my choice doesn’t mean the end of my career
I will say I am very blessed by an industry that has had it’s up’s and downs over the past few years. I will be in a great situation soon. I can’t go into details now, but know that I will be fine and this will be an amazing journey for my family.![]()
A Texas native, he also worked in San Francisco and Dallas after leaving Q100.

seriously, dude, learn to write: “after Suzy Tavarez but before Geller.” Why not use the word between as in, “between Suzy Tavarez and Geller.” It just sounds better. And it be better.

It’s spelled G-R-A-M-M-A-R, Grammer.
“And it be better.”
Facepalm.
