“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” features child star Kim Richards, who was in the Disney “Witch Mountain” films in the 1970s.
Is Bravo willing to pony up enough cash to hire Keisha Knight Pulliam (Rudy on “The Cosby Show”) for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”?
Michelle Brown of Straight From the A, who has a solid track record sniffing out Atlanta housewife scoops, said the “House of Payne” actress has joined the cast for season five, taping now.
Bravo is staying mum on new cast members to date. We know for sure that Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks are back. Kim Zolciak, now that she’s pregnant again, is on the cast as well but may be limited in what she’ll be able or willing to do. Straight from the A has also reported that model Kenya Moore is a sixth “Housewife.” Pulliam would be a seventh. That’s the maximum number of cast members the “Housewives” franchise has ever had in a single season.
With “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” taping over, Pulliam is now attached to a new syndicated sitcom called “Mr. Box Office” also starring Bill Bellamy, Vivica A. Fox and Jon Lovitz. It has been greenlit for 104 episodes. If the show is shot in Los Angeles, it makes me wonder how she’d have time to shoot a reality show like “Real Housewives.” And she’s not a housewife to boot.
And for folks who wish Zolciak would just go away, she won’t. Her “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” finale episode last Thursday drew an impressive 2.4 million viewers. She Tweeted a photo of her baby bump on vacation over the weekend with the family.

She told the Huffington Post she’d like her spinoff, like Bethenny Frankel. She said she was only close to Kandi on “Real Housewives” so her presence on the cast now is less and less relevant.
Kandi is on the cover of Vibe:

@ Von, I’m sure a NBC prime time show pays more even to a featured actor than a cable channel like Bravo And out of 30 cable networks bravo ranks 28 over all

I don’t understand the entertainment in watching such drama on tv. Are lives that boring that they have to be filled with such dumbness? And why are these women called housewives?

@FM Fats
the Real House Wives of Atlanta, the show and the actors, provide enough foder and foolishness to last us all a lifetime. It is completely inappropriate to stoop so low as to maliciously comment on Kim’s daughter’s weight. The children of the actors on this asinine show did not have a choice in whether or not to put their lives on blast or not. That decision was made by their parents. If you want to pick on someone, pick on the culpable party, their parents, the so called adults here. They’re the ones that signed the contracts, not the kids. Your comment was hurtful, juvenile, and unacceptable. Don’t get it twisted. You owe that child, yes THAT CHILD and apology.

@watchyourmouth, I agree with you. The adults provide enough mess to go around. This is the worse show I’ve seen many years. I didn’t think tv could get much worse than the show “Jackass” but I see I was wrong.
@FM Fats you should post an apology to Kim’s daughter. I could care less what you say about Kim or the other adults associated with this hell-in-a-handbasket called a tv show. God knows you’ve got plenty of material to work with here!

I really need to look up the definition of housewife because I must not understand what it means. I thought a housewife was first and foremost a wife and secondly her “job” was taking care of home. None of these women are married, but they are all trashy. Keisha girl run for the border and that is coming from a Georgia peach.

You guys are killing me with the comments! TOOOO FUNNY!
Keisha does not need to be on this show. It will hurt her.
House of Payne is not funny. Simple humor…Boring!
If you want the show to go away do NOT read the articles and comment. Your comments are ensuring the show continues. Think people!
I did watch the wedding and her dress was horrible! Her mom looks like the crypt keeper but Kim looked happy. I don’t think she can pull off her own show.
Okay, keep commenting so I can keep laughing!

The fact that they called these b*tches role models is the true failure. Way to sell that image to the black community, Vibe…way to go. If I wasn’t done with that magazine before, I am now. Keisha needs to stay away from this mess and keep it classy.

Kim is what makes the Real Housewifes of Atlanta. How many of you hater’s out there think that an all black cast would be watched by the rich 18-49 White female demographic without her or other white cast members.
So many of you have admitted that you did not even watch Kim’s show until the Wedding or never. It was a great show. We loved the talks Kim had at the begining of the show with her Son, K.J.. He is so cute, and you can tell that Kim is a good mom. Kim’s daughter’s are great. The disparaging comments about a child’s weight are mean, nasty and so ghetto. That child is a natural with her baby brother. She is also a gifted writer, she helped Kim with her Wedding vows. Kroy’s genuine love for Kim, and all three children is so wonderful.
It is so apparent that poor Kim, had a difficult attention seeking mother that has numerous issues. I love Kim’s relationship with her Dad. Her dad has stuck around despite the difficult wife.
We want more of Kim, Kroy and family of 4 kids. Kroy’s mother looks wonderful at 60. Kroy is a wonderful guy, because he is one of those few of us to have a wonderful family. That showed so true in this show. His mother is not interfering and needy as Bethany’s mother-in law from PA.
The Davis’s showed themselves to be ghetto. I would love to personally report Kendra Davis to the Ga. Board of Architects and Interior Designers for illegally claiming that she is an Interior Designer. I hope that Kim and Kroy do. Especially with her outragious $56K bill. Did she buy them over $560,000 worth of Furniture and Fittings; passing alone her Designer Discounts. I don’t think so.

Why do they call this show ” Real Housewives of Atlanta”? There’s only two cast members that are married. Phaedra and Cynthia and the producers keep adding women that’s single..What a joke!

I totally agree with Belinda. Real Housewives?? I am a real housewife, who actually cleans her own house, raises her own kids and cooks! I have yet to see any of these shows really SHOW what a real housewife is!
