Monica Pearson, Jenn Hobby, Cynthia Bailey at Doggies on the Catwalk fundraiser
This year’s Doggies on the Catwalk fundraiser was moved from Grady High School to a high-end furniture store Room & Board in West Midtown this past Friday night.
Local celebrities paraded dogs around for PALS Atlanta, which provides ongoing care and support to pets of Atlanta area persons living with HIV symptomatic/AIDS, and other critical illnesses or disabilities. Models and celebrities wore designer duds from Tootsie’s and Bill Hallman while Highbrow Hound dressed up the dogs. This year, the event raised $6,000, more than doubling last year’s total.
Here are some photos from the event. B98.5’s Vikki Locke hosted. Among the participants: Cynthia Bailey of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Jenn Hobby of the Bert Show on Q100 and Monica Pearson of WSB-TV.

Monica Pearson of WSB-TV with her husband John and the dog Strike. "I live dogs, never been without one in my life," Pearson emailed me Monday. "My Chief is a 7 year old German Shepherd. He has been in the show before. But this year we decided to let Chief rest. Strike is a champion and a great cuddler. He snuggled up to me and just chilled. And I loved his hair do." Jenn Hobby of Q100 with her rescue dog Carolina. "She was a stray and has been shy and skittish," Hobby said. But Hobby has had her for three years and said Carolina is now more comfortable in crowds. CREDIT: Scott Reeves
