Can’t stand any more blather from the judges. It is so obvious who they favor and it gets sickening listening to them all say the same thing over and over while jlo finds a way to talk about herself.

Scotty won last year which still has me scratching my head. If you don’t tell me it is him singing I would not know. Give me a singer with that special quality that makes them stand outside of the crowd.

During the queen rounds, I thought Skylar was freaking awesome. I don’t get why the judges always give Joshua standing O’s? Holly and Phillip were probably the worst.

This is a tough season. All are very talented but I put my money on Jessica. She has a remarkable voice and delivery. I may not like all the song choices of all the contestants but I know they can’t control what they sing so I go with the voice and Jessica has the best.

Joshua was obviously NOT ready for love on this song. Poor India, I would not be a happy camper after that. Why are they standing? Am I missing something????

Everyone at my office wonders about the love for Joshua, too. He is good, but so are the others. It almost seems like when Randy stands up, the other two judges have to as well. Whatever, it is the tweens that run this show.

J. lo was talking out of her ass trying to advise Hollie! What biased judges…….drooling on their mics for all of the mediocre performance but then burning Hollie….BS!

Deirdre, agreed, on this song Joshua didn’t pour on the gospel or screeching. The quality he conveyed in his voicing was really moving. He WAS that song.

Joshua is the epitome of hit or miss for me. On Ready For Love it was definitely a hit! His voice seemed to float to the notes he needed. Very well done.
Oh boy, there they go standing again. SHOCK! SHOCK! Hey guys, my shock collar remote’s not working. Can you guys try?

Why is Jacob the only one who gets standing ovations? I think they are doing that intentionally so people will vote for him..I would never listen to him…do not understand this..

I believe the judges give Joshua the standing O’s …because he truly deserves it.
I’m rooting for Jessica but I can’t deny Joshua’s great talent. He is a singer’s singer. I think that an artist’s perspective on what a great singer is, is different from that of the common ‘joe’ or ‘jane’.

I didn’t hear Hollie hit bad notes…I thought she did a beautiful job! I also knew before she performed the judges would criticize her. They didn’t surprise me.

I Always prefer the original versions. Some of the songs sung this season have me cringing because the original versions are so beloved by me.

Jojo A – Definitely agree with your views on Joshua’s standing O’s, and there are certainly performances of his that have merited them.
But come on, EVERY song? Crazy Little Thing Called Love was just okay, and it’s not a singer’s song. They gave that a standing O too.
My view on it is if they give standing O’s to EVERY single song, it cheapens it when he does a performance when it is merited.

gayle, I am a Jessica fan since day one, but unfortunately, she will not win. No one will win this competition that doesn’t connect with the voters. She can sing, but she won’t win. Pls, don’t bet the house on her (again, unfortunately).
