Jessica rocked it – best so far. Girls better than guys; more exciting and prepared performances. Better entertainment with the lighting effects and backup than past years. Especially early on.

The Judges will definitely keep Jessica if needed – but probably won’t need to — she has a boatload of YouTube and Twitter, etc. fans already.

I didn’t like chelsy’s, and the second girl’s was okay but she doesn’t have any uniqueness or power. Out of all of them, Hallie was the best, then Brielle, then Jen. I can’t wait to see Hollie and Jessica’s!!!

Oh wow. Elise’s opening was rock solid, plus she’s been the only girl to play an instrument, and I always love when contestants do that.
Oops, she hit a rough patch in the middle. But she brought it home at the end! She picked a really good song for herself.
So we have “beautiful” and “pitchy” can we now add “Adele”? I mean good lord, it’s almost like the judges are her own personal promotional managers.

I saw elise testone playing at a bar near folly beach in Charleston about 3 years ago. I asked if she had ever tried out for American idol and she said no. Guess she finally decided to give it a shot and Im glad she did. Representing Chucktown!

Pitchy – Yeah the only reason I didn’t put Skylar in the ‘Upper Tier’ is because I feel like a lot of the other girls can out-sing her. It’s just a matter of if her presentation and personality can win more votes than some of the other girls’ voices. Plus I’m still not a whole-hearted Skylar fan, but she definitely improved in my personal rankings tonight.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s results. So glad the girls did well! Bit of a redeeming episode.

1. the girls outsang the guys, period.
2. i don’t remember much of the rest of the pack, but OMG ELISE TESTONE!!! shannon and hallie were good too, but….. elise testone!!!!!!! just wow.
